Paid cover price for both $8 and eBay took $2.90 for the sale fee.
Profit = $18.10

But yeah at the end it's something to learn online and apply. I have hard time trying to replicate the success this way. I am going to try out if it's possible to do ebay. Yes, it can be a challenge with all the rules, restrictions and competition. You have to find a good niche and stick to it then overtime you can scale what works and make good money.

There is no period for approval, you have to get approved as a seller on eBay first. They will ask what you intent to sell and we had no issue with comic books and movie posters.
I'm not sure what you mean by publishing?
There is no publishing involved here, just selling comic books.

Yeah sticking to our aim is most important. Have you tried selling some of the other things like the electronics, decorative things or Artificial Jewellery as well. One of my friend from mylot is also a seller on eBay and she's doing pretty well with these things. I think you should add more things to sell to make more profit.

Well, I would still recommend to sell one particular product (niche) like a specific category.
The reason for this is because overtime you will develop a reputation and instead of people calling you the "eBay guy" it would be better to be known as "the comic guy" or "the Lego guy" because then people will come to you more often if you sell 1 particular thing they are familiar with.
In my experience this works better that trying diversify too much BUT on the other hand you can just focus on HOT selling items and this can also work.
I would still advise to pick a niche and scale it.

I guess you know a lot about Ebay. Have you tried selling on Ebay or on any other platform in India like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon.in, or any other. I think online selling is in trend these days and people are getting motivated to buy things online which will help more and more to participate to work as online sellers and it has enormous possibilities to help us earn profit.

Trust me I am expanding my business in many ways, not just on eBay, you have to understand that when you do things on eBay it must be done THEIR way according to THEIR rules and the restrictions that slow us down! BidorBuy is much more flexible and allows us to conduct business much more efficiently.

If possible you should look upon Indian websites to see like here we have OLX on which any one can sell and you being a professional can do best.

We also have BidorBuy, Gumtree and Let Go (for mobile)
So there are many many opportunities on earning income through these platforms.
