BitPay, a payment service provider, has announced that 1st Energy, an Australian energy company, now accepts cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu, through BitPay. BitPay accepts a variety of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Wrapped Bitcoin, and five USD-pegged stable coins, in addition to Shiba Inu (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDP and USDC).

this is good atleast it would grow cryptocurrency activities more in the country since it's a popular platform where the citizens would be able to receive cryptocurrency payment and others ,it would also make the bitpay company more revenue as a payment service provider in that regards too i think tho

Lots of companies are making profits. El Salvador governmentlegalized the usage of cryptocurrency in there country and also they are investing in cryptocurrency. Recently I saw in a news that they wants to build a hospital from the profit they made from cryptocurrency.
If this country can invest in cryptocurrency and are making profits, why are other countries not doing the same instead they are busy trying to ban the use of cryptocurrency.

That is really awesome. Such big companies are making really great moves by accepting cryptocurrency payments. It will improve the customer transactions and will also be beneficial to the whole cryptocurrency community. More companies should copy this example and accept cryptocurrencies because they are actually of great value.

Australia is counted as a Tier 1 country and it is pretty developed country. However, according to a few surveys, the issue is that majority of the Australians do not have much knowledge about cryptocurrencies and this could prove to be a big obstacle for companies that intend to collect payments through cryptocurrencies.

yeah it could be a big obstacle ,that's why more enlightenment needs to be done ,so that the Australian there would have enough knowledge ,there are some countries that needs that cryptocurrency awareness for them to be able to add in more growth

Perhaps some companies can come forward and enlighten people about Crypto there, although with the recent downs in overall Crypto, this could be a bit difficult to achieve.

This is great news. At least Australia is slowly but surely following in the lead of great countries like the United States and United Kingdom who have seen the positive aspect of crypto currencies and have fully accepted crypto currencies unlike other countries that has placed an outright ban on crypto currencies.

Yes if companies start to accept crypto,they will be boosting their business,because crypto transactions are not affected by borders or distance so they can receive payments from all over the world.This is true for countries that run online businesses like Online stores,or crypto exchanges,even real estate etc,it can really make things simple
