Could there be a week that one strong financial institutions in the US won't adopt bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?
Personally I doubt, recent updates shows Gunnercooke, a commercial law firm based in the United Kingdom, has become the latest practice to accept cryptocurrencies as payment for services. The firm also claims to be one of the first big legal firms in the United Kingdom to offer clients payment options. Gunnercooke would now direct any such payments through Coinpass, a registered cryptocurrency exchange platform, according to a Law Society Gazette report.

Share your opinion.

Most of the UK firms are regulated and such a strong economy allowing easier acceptance of the Crypto payment methods and services always allow for the markets to have more acceptance of payments options for their users

It allows the users to have easier payments and that helps in business as well taking it to the next level for the companies .

It will be really great if the UK easies its view on cryptocurrencies and I think this move by Gunnercooke is a glimpse of hope. The UK FCA has been negative on cryptocuurencies, even closing down the running crypto ATMs there discouraging their citizens concerning crypto esp bitcoin. This move by Gunnercooke will mean things have been eased and the future is looking bright now for law firms in the UK

I love the fact that the firms are considering Bitcoin ,in years to come if they should continue like this it would really have that positive effect in causing more growth in Bitcoin , people are the ones to continue to support the firm using it as payment option ,by trying it out

Wow, this is supposed to make history. A law firm, one of the first big legal law firms in the United Kingdom at that accepting payments in crypto currencies. I like the support companies and the law are giving crypto currencies in the United Kingdom unlike in other countries who are busy placing bans on crypto currencies.

The other countries where the Crypto is being banned is due to the fact that most of these transactions are done for hiding the money laundering and illicit use of the money for unknown purposes so I back the governments but since there are many factors so I think regulation is still a better idea that can help traders and the countries both .

Money laundering has existed greatly even with fiat currencies so the money laundering risks are definitely going to be there but that can't hinder the UK citizens, and firms and the entire world from adopting crypto. What they should do is to find a way to minimize money laundering with crypto because no matter how they try it will still exist, there are many shadow organisations out there who haven't been discovered and even some llicit mining firms so its a big deal to stop it

it's really hard and way difficult to stop the money laundering like that ,I think most times some government bodies would put the blame on cryptocurrency anonymity ,not knowing that money laundering also take place with other cryptocurrency and not only flat currency like that as it's been said

That is awesome of the UK firm. It shows just how much many countries are willing to accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. With such big companies accepting them, the adoption will soon be worldwide. This legal firm is truly among the very first to accept cryotocurrencies for law services.

Apparently, it seems like that the company is also interested in Smart Contracts and DeFi projects as well. it seems interesting to see that law firms are also adopting cryptocurrencies and I think that this could potentially prove to be beneficial for many DeFi projects that want to develop tokens and other blockchain related programs.

I love this since they are also interested in smart contract and others ,I guess definitely it would bring forth more adoption and development ,all of these programs including staking thing too add to the development of all of these firm projects and others I think

There are many law companies that have been interested in Bitcoin and they have been utilizing cryptocurrencies for a long time. I have managed to find one that is in the United States. They hire cryptocurrency developers and project managers that could be useful when it comes to blockchain projects.

Yeah, it is so awesome when firms diversify this way into the different ways of investing in crypto currencies. They start with adopting it as a payment method. Then they hold it till it's price goes high, or they get into smart contracts and staking. This leads so much profits from their venture into crypto currencies.

I guess that they think that they could capitalize when it comes to smart contracts. They are also aware of legal aspects of cryptocurrencies. I guess that if such kind of law firms promote cryptocurrencies at a larger scale, then cryptocurrencies could have a much better value in the eyes of people. Promotion of cryptocurrencies by such law companies might also help cryptocurrencies when it comes to legality of these coins.

if law firms promotes it then it would really help ,but I Don't think they would even promote it ,since they have seen that it's something that is not controlled by any government body ,and it's also a volatile and very risk investment something

It is very obvious that financial institutions is losing their grip on financial markets and assets. Definitely, people need more control over their funds. Cryptocurrency have open a new visita and I don't see any force stopping this new revolution. In next few years, cryptocurrency recognition will triple

Yeah, these law firms and institutions rarely promote cryptocurrencies because of their decentralized nature and the fact that most government bodies are either against them or have not put any regulations that guide their use. Those who accept them as payment methods are taking a risk of their own.

Regulation of crypto would ultimately defeat the true purpose of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies by putting the control in the hands of government. This will even help boost money laundering since they can hide and erase their tracks this way.

i think too much regulation would really hinder the progress ,there should be regulation ,but it should actually not be too much , because of the effect it could have in the business , too much regulation is actually not just good ,I believe that

This company has been accepting payments in cryptocurrency for some time now. It is a very welcome development that such is happening. The next three years would see a massive rise in professional businesses that would accept crypto payments.
