I do short animations.
My channel did well at first because of some collabs (collaboration).
Now, there are no open collabs, my views dropped from 10K to just 10 views ...

IDK what to do anymore, I want to get to monetisation but at this rate ... I feel it's not possible.
any advise. Thanks.

This is a nice suggestion. Check through the vidoes that have gotten you your highest views, you can either modify it or you try to copy the same style in your subsequent ones to ensure that you have the best views again.
That is good but when it comes to copying style, the person should do it in a way that it won't be very obvious that he or she is copying another person's style. He should try to be creative too. It will help

I do not really asking him to copy the styles of other YouTube channel owners, rather I am encouraging him to copy the style that he used to garner the same style that he used to get the same results for the next vidoes he wants.

I know that is what you told him but you know some people may not understand things. When you ask some people to copy styles, you will be surprised by how they will just copy everything instead of just copying little things

I don't think this happens suddenly. Besides, those views and subscribers may be bought. There are some people that always buy views to their YouTube channels. When Google knows, it will remove them
Hmm.. it's very tough to get organic traffic to a channel and many people then sort to bought viewership and subscription. I have seen many posting to get views and comments on their YouTube channels. They pay to get those. I am not sure that how will Google suspect that. Because people still keep doing that on various platforms.

What do you think caused that reduction in your views? You can start by working on it again, promote the channel on other social media and and be active with your followers. Things should change.

I agree with you. You know that YouTube is very wide so getting or trying to drag audiences to your page may be quite difficult. So I feel it is better to keep sharing your link on other platforms first

People do share their link on various social media platforms and I have seen them sharing on WhatsApp status as well as in various groups. Earlier I used to notice a lot of YouTube link on Facebook. I am not seeing that recently. It seems that Facebook is promoting it's own reels and discouraging sharing other links there. This would make getting audiences to the channel even tougher. Facebook is a great platform to reach to a huger number in one go. I am not on Instagram and not sure about that.

We have a YouTube channel which focus on some niche areas.
We did well in Late 2020s to Mid 2021s.
Then only a few videos did really well.
People prefer entertaining daily vlogs, Music Videos, some Niche Travel videos more these days.

You need to see what is your core interest.
Then try to pay attention to making quality content.
Next would be working on camera or mobile quality, angles, Editors that can give good result.
Last you can share regularly on Social media channels like Facebook, Twitter and perhaps a few friends.
As of now, you can PM the YT channel information to me, and we can have an interaction.

You will even see people who will send you direct messages that you should please subscribe to their channels to also watch and like a video or all of their videos. That's another way of trying to gain subscribers and views

Hmm... that makes sense. One can always use direct messages to send the links. That would be a good alternative, but it might be a bit of time consuming to send your link through DM to so many in your contact list. But anyways, one has to put a lot of time and effort to gain subscribers.

If I am not wrong, your YouTube channel is about home improvement, decors and reviews of certain products. What could be the reason for only some videos doing good and not all? Getting subscribers is a real challenging job. One needs to put a lot of time and effort to get them through social media platforms.
You have given some really nice tips from your experience.

From my own Analysis, currently, YT needs regular or rather frequent content and content that gets more viewers' interest.
As of now, Daily Vloggers get more viwership. Then we have High Fashion showcasing folks and folks like Flying Beast, Technical Guruji etc who have already got a big fan following.

Most of them are into "content heavy mode", not "Quality leaning mode".

We are good in quality but due to our personal life constraints, the quantity lags.
We are not very regular as well.

That is where we lose out.

Still some of our older decor and Product Review videos are doing well.
One has crossed 28k Plus.
One has 39K Plus and still increasing gradually.
Anyways, we will try to be more "Quantity Heavy".

Whether we would succeed or not, let us see !!

Well, it may make sense but it may be disturbing. Some people won't let you rest. They can send about ten messages in a day that you should like their videos and subscribe. I have so many people like that and it is very annoying

Hmm... understandable! Time maybe a big constraint with all the other obligations. But I would say that 28 K and 39K are pretty impressive numbers for viewership. You must have put a lot of effort to market those videos and get the viewership.
Have you monetized your video? Have you earned something so far?
I wish you all the luck for the future. I am sure that with little time and effort, you could be Quantity heavy too.

Oh! That would be annoying and frustrating. People should avoid doing it. In order to market their products, they might go overboard and too hard on others. This can bring negative impact. If someone is so annoying, one might get blocked and loose one friend online. It's always important to stay within limits and be pleasant while you try to promote your stuff

Some people don't know their bounds when trying to advertise their products online. They will do it in a very frustrating way and it can be very annoying that they will eventually get blocked by others at the end of the day

Yes, they would be. And I would not blame people to block them. No one wants to be bombarded with such messages of promotion. One or two as a reminder should be good enough. If I would keep receiving such repetitive messages, I would go ahead and block the person. I am all for supporting and promoting a good channel or channel of friends. But I am not for bombardment of such messages.

It may even be once a week. You need to see how my direct message is full of texts from these people. It is so annoying and uncalled for. We should always learn that there are limits to everything. Know your bounds.

There was a lot of unhappiness in the recent times ( a couple of years back) when Sussan was heading YouTube. It seemed that she made the earnings from YouTube channels very tough and many showed their unhappiness about that. YouTube even lost users during that time and many opted for alternatives like Facebook reel etc. With Neal Mohan taking over, the positivity returned. Let's see how it goes in the future.

Customer satisfaction is very important and I hope people learn from what happened to YouTube. The truth is that there are some people who still do not use YouTube. They prefer to make use of Facebook reels and the likes.
