Many people start their business from scratch. They invest their time and energy to make it successful. After lots of hard work, thrle products of only a few of them get recognized in the market, and then the offers starting coming to franchise your product.

But will your prefer to franchise your product after all the hard effort you put to lift the product from ground level to that much high?

You make it sound like franchising is a bad thing meanwhile it's just the alternative you are left with at that moment and there is nothing you can do except you want to incur further lose.
If I am in a difficult situation as this I won't hesitate to market the product at a franchise price.
It's actually a good thing honestly, alot of persons have benefited from it, let's take phones for example most of these phone we rush today, the funny thing about it is that the next release might even have the same functions and features with the previous one but the difference might be just the design or even as little as a change in the camera position, yet you see alot of person rushing it and are eager for the next release.

Franchising your product is not something bad at all provided you're sure that the person that is going to handle it is definitely someone who is reliable and can put in the best efforts to make sure that you end up with in or serves as possible that used to be when you're handling a business and product yourself.
There are definitely some business decisions that you are going to take that on itself is going to be successful but you do not know how the people in charge are going to be handling it. This is definitely one of them and you can always strive to work with the right people. I even advised that if you want to do something like this you should hire an independent company away from your business.

I thought it's a good idea to franchise a product, in which to secure the existing of the product. If the business owner make a great effort to make the business existing and succeed there's nothing bad in franchise the business.
It is true that there is a lot of effort that is usually injected into making a very good product and one that can be easily sellable in the market and as such it is going to be very difficult to see that you are going to be losing. This is why I think franchising is not a bad idea afterall if we I'm going to be doing a risk-to-reward ratio at the moment.

Yes , if it does help out my company in the longer run then why not have an advantage from the situation , it can help have more sales with slight more spending and might turn out a possible chance to have more influence and revenue flowing into the company

Yeah sure. It makes it easier because you don't need to pay them to sell your product.. it's you who gets paid so i think it's a good idea to allow franchising. It still carries your name so word spread even more too which helps marketing more and for free aswell i see it as a good win

To protect the business from collapsing in the future, I'll definitely franchise it, provided I have good income stream coming directly from the business, definitely I'll franchise it to protect it in case of unbeknownst future occurrences. Business is subject to risk, in order to protect it insurance is necessary, so, franchising is of utmost importance.

It is definitely not going to be an easy thing for you for you to have built a business right from the scratch and at the end of the day getting to lose it all. In as much as they are going to be some kind of implications I am going to prepare and advise everybody to franchise their product after they have perceived that it has already become successful so as to protect it from other competitors.

This is also the way I usually like to look at things and scenarios in the company . I am going to evaluate it to see if it is something that is going to benefit the company in the short-term and the long-term. If it is not going to do that then I am better off just leaving it and running the business the way it is but if I discovered that it has advantages then I will consider implementing it.

Having your products franchised is not a bad idea since I think it reduces the possibility of the business failing later on after launch.
It's not a bad idea as long as you're going to make your money and the business is going to go well it doesn't really mean you can have your products franchise will make sure you put in your time to your business so that you have full capacity of making money from the business franchising is also good.

There has been some kind of reports that has indicated that franchising your business especially before starting it is going to reduce the chances of failing later on. I believe that this just has to do it personal preference at the end of the day because it is only hard work and commitment that is actually going to make a business to be successful.

Never selling but giving it at a rent and taking the ownership always with me is the solution to achieve some freedom but if you have more businesses you are just going to become like the work people that prefer to sleep in labs if needed and that is very tough for a normal person like us.

If you are venturing into a business especially new business, franchising it is the best option for you because it will help you reach a lot of people.

If your business is already established it may actually not be necessary, but in a scenario whereby it is not a already established, then it is a very good option for you to do so.

I prefer franchising my product, though many of you may think why would I franchisee when you can start your own complete business. Well, for me franchising a business is like a hack one can apply that one can apply while starting the business. Starting a business from nothing can be quite doubting, there are chances of failure, so in such a case, the franchisee can be a great option.

The idea behind your decision should be as to what level do you want your influence to be,at times building your own business from scratch is so rewarding in the long run and you get to enjoy all the profits when it booms but as a franchise you will always have to pass through the hurdles in order to get or promote certain developments. It limits the brand growth because everything is set up and projected without your sore influence.

The only thing that can make me think of franchising my business is if there is declining in the profit and productivity and the company that want to franchise with me has the same objectives and goals with me. I may consider franchising to save the business.

I think when the business is not making any progress , despite my effort , then I could think of franchising , probably I might not have the skill to run it properly ,and if another person should take over ,the person might all have the needed skills that would boost the business up the maximum expectation

You aren't selling your product with a franchise, but selling your business (model). IMO it's a completely different game. I'm not a fan of the franchise business since from my experience most of them are scammy. If you own a business and customers like your product, it would be better if you just focus on that, delivering value to your customers and growing (even if it's slow) naturally. I've been involved in many franchise businesses in the past and most of them sugarcoat their prospectus. Logically, you don't want to sell your business to others if it performs well.

You should consider franchising when you might have trusted the people doing that for you.

Like @SlotsGator has stated, he has used some of them in the past and it didn't work for him.

Some of them usually sugarcoat everything so that you will pay them some money to carry out the service for you, but at the end of the day it is not worth it.

I actually know how they sugarcoat or trick any thing , I would always stand my ground on the price to be tagged , I can't actually come and be collecting what is actually not worth my product , I would really make sure it's the best selective price that is charged

If you already have enough knowledge of how it works and how to go about the pricing then you may actually stand a better chance of succeeding at it.

But the thing is that not everyone will have as such knowledge so it is important for them to start small and grow their businesses to a reasonable extent.

Franchising is actually good to some people and may not really be a viable option to so many other people also.
