One who knows programming certainly know about ruby o rails. Its a programming language just like java or linux. But unlike others, I found ruby on rails is the simplest way of coding. The commands are simple and it eats less time to code with their interface tha JavaScript which has too many symbols for commands, makes it tedious task to remember all those.

In ruby, the commands are simply words and it's easy to remember. Also the function are very simple and easy to navigate. Though it has some restrictions too like for animations you will still need javascript.

But As far as my experience, it's the simplest and easiest programming tool I have used. But still I have a question, why it's so unpopular among the programmers? Is there any drawback in this program that I don't know of? Kindly share your views. Thank you.

The declining interest is mainly due to the fact that web development has changed significantly in recent years. Much of what used to have to be done on the server side can now be done directly in the frontend. Now that's no longer the case and frameworks like Rails, Django, and other 'backend kings' are all going to die out.

I have not really been a lot popular about using ruby on rails but I believe that a lot of people do not like it because of the very few support. People are moving into programming interfaces because of the community that is available online and how you can easily get help whenever something goes sideways and that is something that is not popular with his programming language.

I doubt that django or php are goind to die down soon. Backend is still important in web development, so we cannot do without it in the nearest future. Surely, JS has some cool modules but the vast majority of web services are written on php, so, you'd better abandon the hope that such a language will disappear.

I absolutely do not know why a lot of people are saying that ruby on rails is not popular and if you are going to check business statistics PHP today programming language that is used the most in website development back end. A lot of people are going to argue that it is as a result of WordPress but then I believe that a lot of PHP use as actually like to use laravel over any other framework for development.

The language is outdated and not as smart as many other languages , people have moved to do most of the coding and the basic preset planned tasks and in c and c# so that is the reason why the popularity of such are falling way fast than needed and one must understand that some languages aew easier and some are sufficient too

Despite the fact that Ruby on Rails is a widely used technology to develop web applications, there are several factors that have contributed to its decline in popularity in recent years compared to other technology stacks. The main reason for that is that it can take a lot longer to develop complex applications with Ruby on Rails than it would take with other technologies like Node.js or Java. Additionally, it can take a lot longer than it will take to develop a complex application, as well as requiring more upfront setup and design. Moreover, it is difficult for new developers to understand and get up to speed quickly with the technology due to the lack of clear documentation and robust tools for debugging and testing. Finally, its popularity is waning as it is being replaced by more modern technologies that gain more traction and attract more users.

Ruby on Rails is a well-liked platform. In fact, it is among the most widely used web frameworks for creating web applications. Its wide range of features and ease of use are the main reasons for its popularity. Ruby on Rails may not be as well-known as some other programming languages and frameworks, but its devoted developer community has produced some incredible web applications using the framework.

Ruby on Rails, or simply Rails, is a popular web development framework built with the Ruby programming language. It is not accurate to say that Rails is "unpopular," as it has a dedicated community of developers and continues to be used by many companies and organizations to build web applications.
However, in recent years, there has been a shift towards other technologies and frameworks, such as JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular, and serverless architecture. This has led to a perception that Rails is not as relevant as it once was.
Another factor that may contribute to this perception is the learning curve associated with Rails. Compared to other frameworks, Rails can be complex and requires a deeper understanding

There is no single answer to why Ruby on Rails may be considered less popular than other web development frameworks. However, some factors that may contribute to this perception include the rise of newer technologies, the perception of performance issues, and the learning curve for developers who are new to the Ruby programming language. Nonetheless, Ruby on Rails is still actively used and maintained by

There are a few reasons why Ruby on Rails isn't as popular as some other programming languages. One reason is that it's not as widely used in the industry, so there are fewer job opportunities for developers who know RoR. Additionally, some developers find the RoR framework to be more complex and less intuitive than other options like Django or Laravel

The Ruby on Rails community is amazing. One of the best things about RoR is that it has a large and vibrant community of developers who are constantly sharing knowledge and resources. This makes it easier for new developers to get started, and it also means that there's always someone who can help when you run into a problem.
