Agricultural farming is a profitable business. The area of agricultural farming may determine your quick success.
We have an hectare of land in which we intend to use for the farming business in other to have quick returns of our investment.

We know that we have three areas of agricultural sector

Animal farming

Crop farming

Mixed farming

Animal farming is the raring of animals like : turkey, chicken, goat, cow etc

Crop farming: is the cultivation of crops :such as tomatoes,pepper, rice etc

Mixed farming; is the planting of crops and raring of animals in the same plot of land.

Though we don't want to go into mixed farm, we just want to focus on one area of agricultural farming.
In your opinion which type of farming can we do and what is your reasons for that.

Not so sure about this though, but i feel animal farming should be more lucrative, crop farming simply deals with crop. While animal farming on the other hand, you can also make money from producing milk gotten from the animals and as well generate organic manure that is needed by all farmers.

Yes you are right one can generate manure from the animals but sometimes we want to look at the number of crops can produce and the rapidness of it.
Well maybe everyone may have his or own opinion about it

It will be better to focus on one rather the two. And if I am to choose, I will go for the crop farming. People will always eat crops but not everybody prefers eating meat. That's why I believe crop farming may be more lucrative.

I think before you choose which farming to venture, you to check the climate conditions of your area, soil nutrients, the type of disease associated with a crops or animal within a season, with this information you can decide which farming to go into. Topography is another factor to consider.

All types of farming in agriculture is very lucrative but I prefer crop farming. It has minimal risk than livestock farming. All you need is a big hectares of land, a good species of plants and seedlings, affordable labour etc.

Well, I think crop farming is more profitable because people need crop products more than livestock products, food is essential while livestock is somewhat a luxury, if you look around you and also when it comes to maintenance, crops are easier you only have to plant, ****, apply fertilizer and harvest while livestock is just a lot more harder.

Each aspect of farming has its own advantages and disadvantages. In most cases when it comes to crop farming you will have to need more amount of land to carry out the farming. While in animal farming you can make do with the relatively smaller amount of land.

That's right, a balance is needed when we have only crops without livestock, there will be inflation of livestock prices, I agree with you it is just that on a larger scale crop products are more in-demand than livestock depending on the economic capacity of an individual or a country at large.

In animal farming, the best thing is dairy farming and fertiliser; animal farmers will need fodder, so that will help more. Yet people need food to eat, and the production of vegetables is important.

The challenges with animal farming is that it requires huge amount of money to maintain but if you go for crop plantation, it is much more easier to maintain and you can still make decent amount of money from it as well.

I think animal farming is much more profitable although animal farming would have more maintenance depending on what kind of animal you are trying to use, while in crop farming it would be dependent if the land on your area is suitable for farming and what the season on your country is as some crops only grow on certain weather or season

Yes you are right it is better to focus on one area. Looking the animals they can give birth to more young ones in which one need not go

To be sincere agriculture is in all ways lucrative,it just depends on the areas of specialization.
