This may be true. However i think that if this is the case then maybe he might just be looking to pump and dump those coins rather than see a future in them.

I was actually quite surprised by how quickly the price dropped of this specific cryptocurrency because he seemed to be quite an advocate for this. Perhaps it will increase again in the future if he actually does deliver on the promises that he made regarding future developments to the dogecoin network.
There are many cryptocurrency that actually dropped in price over this period of time however I think that people are more prominent with looking at dogecoin because of the fact that it was being supported by such a massive investor such as Elon Musk. Furthermore he is constantly talking about developments that are being made to the network and as yet we have not seen such results.

Another point of recovery could be the integration of cryptocurrency cards with mastercard and visa on some exchange platforms as this could be a good thing that drove the people to have confidence and buy to cause this recovery.
