Its good that you are willing to start small. It can work although it will take some time to earn a significant amount of money but with compound interest, it can work. I'm not too much into online investments but maybe what I can advise and what I have seen work with a few of my friends is Forex. You can start small but the most important thing is to learn how to do. There are plenty of online tutorials and websites that you can work with. You can also get someone to train you, practice before you can invest the $20.

As you asked about "legit" methods, I will exclude HYIPs, as they are literally all Ponzi schemes. I can only think of two suggestions below.
1. PTC sites
There are actually a few legitimate PTC sites that are still paying. Neobux pays the highest with enough rented referrals, but they are accused of operating as a "pyramid scheme" and should be avoided. GPT planet and scarlet clicks pay considerably less, but they are legit and are operated by the same admin, and have been running for years. You could consider buying an account upgrade or rent referrals.

2. Binary options
IQ options and olymp trade are two legitimate binary options brokers that have low minimum deposits of $10. You can make high profits or lose your capital, so I'd consider them as high risk investments. They are quite risky and are definitely not recommended for newbies.

I would not recommend Neobux from my experience, I invested in renting referrals but it appeared that half of them are inactive and don't click at all. Now for PTC sites, I use for the moment sprizads and minerva-clicks and offersbux.

@kona1 thanks for your suggestion, but just a few weeks ago i got scammed by cashmining.xyz and since then i don't feel comfortable working with those kind of websites
@matt9005 Already have Neobux account and heard also a lot of same reviews, so probably won't do that. Also have GPT planet and went through their offers, i don't know if it would be beneficial for me to upgrade to the silver since i don't have referrals and it seems to me that that's the only beneficial thing for silver upgrade.
