In your opinion which is the best payment processing system nowadays?
Here are the top 10 best online payment systems based on popularity and functionality:
  1. PayPal: PayPal is one of the most widely used online payment systems, known for its ease of use and secure transactions.
  2. Stripe: Stripe is a payment processing platform that enables businesses to accept payments online and in-person. It's also known for its ability to handle recurring payments and subscriptions.
  3. Square: Square is a payment processing platform that enables businesses to accept payments both online and in-person, and it's also known for its ability to handle recurring payments and subscriptions.
  4. Skrill:...
Most of these online payment platforms make things very difficult for so many African countries especially Nigeria. For instance it's very difficult to open a PayPal account here in Nigeria even when you open the account you can only send money but receiving money you have to go extra mile to receive money. I don't think PayPal can have my vote.
There is no way you can compared paypal to any other payment system paypal is one of the best payment system which we have this days but for sure I think they will never allow Nigerian to use their full services because there are alot of fraudstar around and paypal can only be use to send money in Nigeria and not for receiving purposes

Paypal as the best payment processor is incomparable throughout the world but the only problem is that they dont give their Nigerian full service maybe because of scam , but i can only send money to someone abroad but i can't receive money from a PayPal customer from another country to Nigeria.

Here's another vote over here for PayPal aswell. While I know it's not very original, I genuinely think they are the best payment processor you can use, especially when it comes to online transactions.
No doubt, PayPal is the best. The method of their refund scheme if you got something you didn't actually order for, they would help to make or sort the issue out with the store. PayPal is the most acceptable because it has security posterity and it cannot easily be hacked by fraudsters.

PayPal gave me headaches when tried to sell digital items, when people ask refund usually there was nothing to do about it due to PayPal customer policy etc.

Payoneer is a really good alternative to PayPal, what most people using Payoneer don't like are their fees I guess, but when you deal with a lot of money their fees are nothing in my eyes :)

PayPal is a payment processor that has annoyed many people. Even though Paypal is not supported in my country, I would never use it. I love cryptocurrencies as a payment method. Cryptocurrencies have a really low transaction fees. I am not talking about Bitcoin. I am talking about Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. You may check the transaction fees at BitInfoChart Website and see how cheap it is to use such cryptocurrencies.

Apart from having strong security measure, I don't see more of advantages of using PayPal. I have seen more of its users complaining more than any other payment gateways. Its non availability in some countries has made some people to even bypass its terms. Which means it still lack ability to detect if a banned country is using the platform.

I think that would be applicable to those using VPNs to bypass the system. Well, personally, I have a PayPal account and I opted in as a business account the last time I had to check if my account was still active. It places restrictions in my country but I still see freelancers use it for transactions or atimes they opt for exchangers because you can only send out money, but you cannot receive from a third-party.

I think the best online payment system depends on the system you prefer to use most people prefer Bitcoin payment while some people prefer PayPal but you can use any one of your choice that best suits you like me I prefer PayPal because it is easy for me to get my reward and transfer them to my local bank account
I would have preferred PayPal method of payment transaction because it is almost an option of payment in most websites or apps but I don't understand the reason it chooses to restrict some geographical setting especially lower-tier countries from utilising it. I prefer using Binance pay for now, Payooner or bank wire transfer.

Binance Pay is increasingly becoming popular, as it does not charge any fees for transaction. Paypal is facing unpleasantness due to the lure of collecting its fee, now even BMF advises not to withdraw via PayPal.

It's not PayPal's fault, PayPal is an American company, and American companies can only do business with geo areas restricted by the USA as much as they are allowed to do.

So what's now the essence when you cannot receive payment, you can only send? Where I come from, I have seen people using another country's link to register their PayPal for them to have full access to the features of the platform. And the funniest thing is that PayPal has not noticed this despite being praised for high security.

I don't think it will be like this for long. I had a fake account, there were also some $ in it from which I used to make online purchases. But paypal frozen it. Lest it freeze your account with money in it, so don't put too much money in it.
A friend of mine with varified real account also got such problem, PayPal froze his real account.

There's actually no essence where you can only send money but receive. It's almost like a mockery to me that's why the use of VPNs would come to play. This is the more reason I just boycott websites that PayPal is their only mode of payment because I don't want my money to get stucked as I don't really know my way around other alternatives.

Likewise me, I don't actually works on some websites just because PayPal is their only payment option. However, there are many people that have bypassed this stuff. They do create PayPal using another country's link. I see this as breaking the terms and conditions of the platform, hence, it is better to stay off than putting myself in trouble.

Despite all the rants and complaints and PayPal fees and restrictions it is still the top notch payment processor for many personal and businesses.

I am glad that as of 2022 PayPal has introduced more ease restrictions that allows more local bank cards transactions to be accepted for PayPal withdraws and verifications.

This is the same mindset I have, I literally quit the site and keep sourcing for other means. I can't work and waste my energy and let my resources go to waste during withdrawal. I believe they could still be a possibility that they could fish out defaulters so it's better to steer clear than break their terms and conditions because I'll only have myself to blame!

I don't like using PayPal only for one reason - Fees.
There are some sites who bear all fees themselves to pay the member 100% of the earning, only those sites are still able to attract users, yet members from restricted countries find it hard to be with them. But with the increasing popularity of cryptocurrencies, many sites are slowly moving towards it with low fees and no restrictions.
If you withdraw from BMF in crypto, your fees will be covered.

I still wonder the reason PayPal restricts some countries from having access to their services even with the much appraised security level they ensued. I've got a PayPal account although I don't see the need of using it, that's why I don't bother wasting my time on sites or apps that uses solely PayPal as their payment medium. I have a Binance pay account and I've only used it to receive BNB but I don't think they charge fees.

As mentioned (in brieff) PayPal cannot do business in any country that is restricted by either the CPU try itself or by the US. PayPal has to do business as per law. For example, Indian law forces all institutions to pay intrest if they keep money for 7 days or more, so PayPal automatically send the amount to users' bank account. But fees is fees, it even charges the tax.

Binance Pay is Binance to Binance business, so there is no fees,it is not properly established yet, it is fees less for now to attract users.

Paypal is better that all just because its easy to use and convenient, but for some strict rules to sellers, many people dont prefer it now a days. It is also hated for limiting account & holding back money.
Crypto currency is the best and will always be the best, with cryptocurrency there is no fear of loss except you are not careful.
With cryptocurrency you can actually monitor the transaction with ease and it does not segregate on locational bases.

How can you say there is no fear of loss?! We have seen many times over the last few years huge gains and huge crashes on the cryto market. With most currencies the value of your money will only change slowly, with crypto half your money can be wiped out almost overnight!

PayPal and payoneer, are the only online banking system i know of but the restriction of PayPal is not making me vouch for them. Whereas most business man home and abroad use PayPal more than payoneer, so as an online service provider, i have no other choice than to get used to PayPal, i wouldn't have gone for PayPal assuming payoneer is well known.
