I want to know what is the best editing software that can be used to create good videos for YouTube. It will be best if the software is free to edit on.

I personally prefer using OpenShot video editor as first of all it's free to use. It's features are truly great and mixing video and audio is quick in it.

I was about to ask this question but I saw it so there is no need to create a new thread again. Currently, I use AZ screen record but it doesn't seems good to me.

The "Best" YouTube Video editing Software is a tricky question!
Yet i can suggest a few :
Power Director- A lot of good features and overall editing.
Video Guru- Some special animations and special effects.
Vita - Comparatively recent entrant but has some cool effects which we can use.

Ok, first make sure that on which platform you want to edit on desktop or smartphone, if you want to edit on smartphone and search free software then you should use kine master and power director.

Yes, kinemaster is fantastic for most smartphone. It edits all my videos really good. I can't tell about Imovie as I don't use iPhone. But, I'm thinking of moving to pc for editing my videos, so any suggestions on that.

Is this a pc video editor? If it is,I will definitely give it a go. I'm currently editing on my smartphone so it will certainly help.

If you are editing on your smartphone, you can use kinemaster. It is one of the best software for android out there and easy to use.

No, it is completely free to edit on but after you exported, it leaves a watermark. If you want to remove the watermark, you have to pay. But there are other modded versions of kinemaster where the watermark is removed without any fee.

OK. Thank you for the support.
Where can I get the other modded versions of kinemaster where the watermark is removed without any fees because I don't like watermark and they made recorded videos less neat.

You can just go to Google and search for the latest modded version of kinemaster. Every couple of month, they come with new versions of kinemaster where they fix any bug or improve any functions.

depends on the kind of videos you are trying to upload on your channel, if you are looking for something very basic and easy to use, then you can try Movavi video editor, it's the biggest free alternative for Filmora

Thanks for your recommendation. Yes, as I am starting to edit on the pc for very the first time, I will be doing basic things. As I get comfortable, I will move to bigger things. So, I will definitely give it a go.

There is also Filmora from Wondershare which comes for both PC and Mobile, although we used the Mobile version. There is also Kinemaster but we found Power Director a better option and if I am not wrong, Power Director would also have a PC version.
