To Google, invalid traffic are bit traffic or traffic that is sent to your website to manipulate and cheat their AdSense system, Google is very wise in detecting systems like this and your AdSense account might get banned, if you drive 100% traffic from social media, it's better you balance it with the SEO traffic coming to your site to avoid getting penalized for invalid traffic.

You are right when one use low quality traffic on his website to drive conversions then he surely faces the wrath of the google and that is why one must be having no bad traffic sources for most part of his traffic activity .

Activity that is not from a real user with a real interest is referred to as invalid traffic. This consists of manual clicks or impressions from publishers clicking on their own advertisements or collaborating with other parties to produce invalid traffic, as well as programmed clicks or views from bots

Exactly such kind of traffic is just visible in the stats it does makes an actual growth Or impact in the rankings of a business website and therefore you must be having a real traffic always to grow online actually .

I always want to make sure I generate lesser traffic from social media. This is because Google always prefer organic traffic to other forms of traffic. That's why it is always better to make our contents SEO related for our traffic to be ranked on SERP easily.

I agree the traffic that comes naturally from search engines are mostly preferred in the eyes of the google and it considers that those who are actually having the best of the traffic should be able to get high rankings as well indeed .

If you will focus on the main thing that is targeted search engine based traffic if you are getting that then you will be happy most of the times and you will not have to worry about social traffic at all in the first place indeed .
