The Core DAO was created with the intention of giving Bitcoin the decentralisation, security, and organisational structure of the EVM chain.

Core DAO is Layer 1 (L1) blockchain, it launched mainnet on January 14.

Core DAO presents features like Web 3, Remix, Hardhat, Dapp development, and writing capabilities of ERC-20 and ERC-721 token.

This blockchain's native token is called $CORE. There are 2.1 billion CORE in the whole supply of this token.

That's another news, sometimes China ban, sometimes SEC crack. But some like MATIC still gained, so this might not be the reason. CORE is not available in Kraken, so any effect due to Kraken is not for Core.
Yes Core is not on Kraken. Whenever there's a major fud news about crypto, BTC takes the hit then followed by other altcoins. Tokens have lost over 3% value since the news and the market is still bleeding.

@Riberet19 , don't worry, use your wallet, only CeFi staking is effected. Core DAO isn't even effected by that ban, most of COaRE are in Asian exchanges like Huobi.

@gammarays If BTC hits, other (including CORE) will hit too
You're correct, since BTC is the flagship of crypto, whatever affects it affects other tokens too. That's why BTC is the most important of all crypto tokens. Core is listed on many exchanges aside Huobi like Mexc, Okx, Lbank and co

It is not the same as PI, as the mainnet of CORE has been released already. But it is a combination of PoW and DPoS, due to which big platforms like Binance and Coinbase have not accepted it yet.
Yes I think it's listed on many tier1 exchanges like Huobi and Ok. It's just a matter of time before Binance lists it. I don't know about coinbase because they're selective in listing tokens. The ecosystem is growing.

CORE Value is down

Core's value is still down by over 19% over the past 24 hours. This is a loss for investors who already have CORE, but it can also be a good opportunity for new investments to buy the dip.

I have the CoreDAO app in which it stopped mining few months back. I understand the project but i believe that it may not perform very well in the longrun. I'm weary of EtH tokens as a whole because of the gas fees
