Yeah , airdrops are just another waste of time , I do agree. There was one period during 2019-2021 where airdrops were at all time high, with lot of potential coins coming into the market. But nowadays , its better to stay away from the airdrops and look for other opportunities like staking or trading.

Yeah , airdrops that claim to be worth thousands of dollars end up scamming the participants with the coin that has no value , no marketcap , no liquidity and not listed in any exchange. Probably the airdrops from airdropalert or airdrops.io websites are legit.
