The US appeal Court of ninth circuit has finalized the US government's seizure of 69370 bitcoins and other cryptos (BTG, BSV, BCH) linked to Silk Road. Ross Ulbricht founded Silk Road in 2011 as a free online marketplace that became a darknet marketplace, for this, Ulbricht was arrested in 2013, and the crypto was confiscated in 2020. This was one of the controversial matter in crypto history.

I think that from a case like this, the US government should be able to develop a regulatory framework on how they would go about regulating crypto. It is a noble thing that victims would be compensated for their losses.

That is a big step ! Such a huge number of Cryptos !!
It is quite shocking and shows how much things go on in Grey market and in a clandestine way.
I think some assets emanating from this source could still be floating around.
Anyways, it is still a worth taking step.

It is indeed much good to take such actions that can provide a sense of clarity in the market there are people who are indeed trying their best mostly but indeed they are definitely having problems when such things happen trust only develops when there is reliability I the markets.

they have sentenced Ross Ulbricht to his rest of his life in jail, for non violent crimes. or i dont know for how many yrs in ail. the us government is using ross as a scrap goat. it was also entrapment according to some people. did he sell illegal things ¿?¿ yes he did. but so does the us government & other governments.

this is just a big circus, scare mongering. theres a good saying - dont steal or do anything illegal. governments dont like the competition.
