$19 for 1000 downloads is pretty good and isn't a "small amount of money" considering that all you're doing is uploading a file and not doing any other work.

It also doesn't have to be a single file. It's 1000 downloads to your account, not to a single file. So that means if you upload 10 files and 10 people download each file one time, you get 100 downloads. People who share files often actually make quite a bit of money using sites like these so it's a good way to earn money online while doing very little work.

Also, each file has a counter so you can see how many downloads you are getting. So they can't just tell you nobody has downloaded your file and not pay you.

If his is true then it would be wise to have some excellent files in your account so that people would be interested in downloading them. I guess some research needs to be done on this account to see what people download the most. Then if you have these types of files or PDF files you can try uploading some of them to the site to see if people would be interested in buying them from you.

I think if you understood the principle behind this site you'd be fine. An upload site is basically a site that you upload your own personal files to. Afterwards, a person can find your files and download them. If you reach 1000 downloads for all of the files you have uploaded then you are paid.

I totally agree that to make good money from sites like this one need to upload valuable files that can be easily downloaded.Do you get paid from.1000 downloads,how about getting less than this amount?

My point is why will anyone download a file only for the sake of doing it. Do the users get paid for downloading also? Or in other words is the working of the site like virily where we get paid to view others articles and get paid when others view ours.

You are missing the whole point. Sites that pay you to upload files are really paying you to share files. They earn when people download and view the advertisements on their sites and they earn when people buy their premium service.

People don't download files just for the sake of doing it. People download files because they want it. YOU are supposed to upload and share files that people want. For example, if you upload a popular song that everyone wants and share that link, people will download it without you even asking them to. 1000 downloads might seem slow to you, but there are hundreds of thousands of people online everyday. If you upload something everyone wants, then you can reach 1000 downloads in the blink of an eye.

This is kinda cool but for one to get paid easily you will need to upload a very unique, useful and easy downloadable files that people will love cos it may take a while to hit 1000 downloads

Yes, you do have to upload files that people want to download. But it's not 1000 downloads per file, but 1000 downloads to your account.

I used to share files online and my files generated 600+ downloads per file on average. If this program was available back then, I'd be making bank.

Ok...now I get it. This is what makes my question more substantial. Getting 1000 downloads is really a big deal. You must have an ability to analyze the users minds. I don't think earning on this site is easy. It will take months to reach the payout. Are you currently working on the site?

I am not working on the site any more because I don't share files any more.

But like I said, 1000 downloads is not that hard. Movies and songs get thousands of downloads everyday. Share something that's currently popular and you'll have 1000 downloads in no time.

Maybe, you are right. But, still I would say that it is easier to earn on sites like Virily but not on a site demanding downloading of files. Until members join hands together and help each other by responding to each others uploads.

Virily is slow, but how much you earn is in your hands. If you do paid to upload, it will be faster, but more unstable. So it's up to you what you want to do. When I used to share files online, paid to upload wasn't an option yet. If it was, I would've made a lot of money since I had files that generated 600+ downloads.

Have you emailed them to see if there's a problem with your payment? The status still says pending and not rejected. I don't use this site, but it would suck to see another site turn into a scam.

No I haven't. Most sites will just stick with the 'PENDING' status when stop paying.
I already knew this site had a bad reputation, and other uploaders also started reporting not getting paid.
Anway, I had already started using new sites when I requested the payment, and it's just $24, so no big deal.. :)
