Boris Johnson, the prime minister of UK, has given an order to strip all technologies made by Huawei from the country's network. The prime minister also forbid any purchase from Huawei starting at the end of this year. The government has set the deadline date for all communication companies to exclude Huawei technologies until 2027. It has been estimated that this move will delay the 5G growth in UK by 2-3 years and made the technology more expensive by 2 billion poundsterling.

I'm not entirely sure how it works but a Spanish student of mine told me that with 5G technology, we'd easily have cutting edge technology such as driverless trains and the like. In as much as I'd love lightning fast internet, I'm not sure I'm ready fro driverless trains???
