Data from theblock shows that Bitcoin and Ethereum, which are the two most popular cryptocurrencies, are less volatile and profitable than some stocks. Analysts at IntoTheBlock developed an automated tool for computing the Sharpe ratio, a metric that aids investors in weighing risks and rewards. The portfolio's prior performance is used to compute the ratio for proper results.

Yes that's possible usually the new coins which are listed in the market and have lowest starting values have highest volatility but with the time as they are listed on top exchanges it decreases and the coin or token starts to have more stability and behaviour according to the market movement actually .

I doubt the analysis because am a trader both in crypto and stocks. I wonder where they curated the data. Even without analysis, every trader that trade stock and cryptocurrency knows that it is quite impossible. If there is such volatility in stocks, a lot of companies will be out of business . Stocks is highly regulated and act as a stabilizer of financial services. If stock become as volatile as cryptocurrency, a lot of economy will be in serious trouble.

They do behave like Crypto and there have been instances when stocks have fallen 30% in a day exact time when Crypto market crashed and upto 52% in a day as well , So definitely stocks are more volatile assets when falling compared to Crypto Assets Indeed Actually .

Usually, cryptocurrency are more volatile than stocks, but the current situation has made cryptocurrency seem like a more attractive alternative and that's why people don't panic sell a lot.

For example, after the FTX saga, you can see that cryptocurrency can be really volatile. Stocks don't react that way at all and it's the reason some people prefer them to lower their risk.

Exactly but both markets are dependant big time on news and politics as well so especially when there ia any development from the two categories the markets usually behave along and go upwards or downwards very swiftly to show a reaction to the news or new policies announced actually for the market .

Exact right now the news is focusing more on the crypto ecosystem especially the bad and negative and that generates fear in the investor and many liquidate their assets, I think that in 2023 the tables will change and focus more on the macroeconomic field...

Yes , the most popular analysts believe after 3 rate hikes and most investors that have withdrawn market will be at the lowest point in years and that is when it will start picking up to provide 300% profit for the investors in 6 months , So wait for it and then invest .

Also think that after the crisis of 2008 when it ended there was a bull market of more than 10 years also after the bubble .com there was also a bull market from the end of this until approximately 2007, very prosperous years can come after this correction but that should be evaluated by each individual.

That's was when no one knew and invested blindly in such things bitcoin and Crypto markets have already passed that stage and they are well known and also manipulated by the whales and the banks , So they will always have the most profits from the market ever on the back of smaller investors actually .

Exactly the whales almost always or always will win since they are accompanied by information and enough capital to move the market, I think investors have to understand how the market moves and how these entities act in order to get a return on their investments

That's right a small investor can also make profits from the markers if he follows the analysts and also makes 3 portions of his reserves and never invests more than 30% in one trade so if It goes down other trade can provide profit to balance the equation for the trader indeed .

It's said often that the millionaires of any bull run are created in a bear market. That is the time to hunt for promising projects, learn how to invest and maintain your emotions while investing and trading.

People also leave the market but come back in the middle of a bull run when others have already made 100% returns or more on their investment.

Exact if it is already in the market, it is silly to get out of it and assume losses at this point it is better from my point of view to maintain the position and as you say look for places to continue investing projects that have value and can be profitable in the next bull market

That's Right but you should never be investing more than 10% of your assets in a single Crypto and not more than 30% of entire assets in Crypto , because if it falls badly it can take your worth down significantly you you must 2x the investment you are making in Crypto to be safe from.such potential hazards .

Yes in that we agree in addition to money that you can not afford in general I would not invest more than 20% of the investment capital in crypto and within the money invested in crypto most would go to Bitcoin since the altcoins are almost all very destroyed in value and many may not survive

That's great thinking and the right strategy to invest in the Crypto market since it is at the point where it can collapse in very bad way at any moment and can cause loss of 20% or even more for the investors so till next year the market will be under radar to drop off completely to rise in new manner and you shouldn't and restrain to invest in this time actually .

I thought stocks are more stable than crypto currency im surprised that it wasn't the case.. well i still think stocks are lot more complicated than crypto currency so i still prefer it although the higher the volatility is the better for me because it's easier to make money off the market movements

That's right stocks are highly affected due to the news and same is right and applicable for Crypto as well , Target shares fell tomorrow by 15% on reports on lower quarterly revenue than the targets in an hour , So that is how Crypto and Stocks both can fall big instantly at any moment of time in their respective markets .

It's true tho ,I think there are some stocks with very high volatility , many of them are not too popular like that , since the basis of the company is not in the right track or off track ,the stock could drop in a huge manner or way ,so most times the stocks is actually a big concern no doubt
