Tesla has cut the prices of Model 3, 7, S, Y and X vehicles by 23% instead of increasing the prices of their vehicles when demand is high.

Due to the increasing cost of gas, the demand for electric vehicles is now increasing, at the time of this increasing demand.

The business reason for this is believed to be that the sales of these models have decreased, so Tesla has decided to launch its vehicles in the market by cutting instead of any new price increase.

Tesla owner knows what he is doing. Slashing the prices will surely lead to many buyers buying it. And this will at the end of the day equivalent to not slashing it and having lower buyers buying the products.

It's a very good tactics for them. since the price of gas was continuously going up many people may have already been thinking of converting into one of these cars. but what stops them is perhaps the thoughts that tesla is an expensive car brand now if they see that these models of cars are in "sale" they would be easier to be swayed to buy because it's like an opportunity for them to buy cheaper.

There may be many reasons why Tesla may want to involve in this act. It may be because they want to ease the burden of customers because of the economic hardship. Another reason is that they may involve in it to attract many small buyers.

This is a deliberate way to get market attention. 23% deduction in price is very attractive and will bring in more customers. Then can remove the discount and sell at normal price with Time as the models get popular.

That's just it. I don't always see price slashing and discount giving as a way of doing the consumers a favor. A company must always find a way of gaining no matter the scheme that it may introduce to attract customers.

Yes they're already gaining from the price slash. These companies do make a lot of money so a discount won't affect them in a way. It's also a good marketing system because it works like a bait to attract customers.
