SwagBucks Reviews.jpg

Swagbucks has been online for 10 years and in February celebrated their anniversary with the opening of a brand new game app called Swag IQ. The site has a mobile app that you can download from the Google Play Store or the App Store. You can install this on your smartphone or other mobile devices to access the website. Unfortunately, this site is for US residence and if you try to register with the site using a VPN the site will ban your account. I did find some information that people who live in India can join this site. However, I can't find the site or any information on how they can join. The only indications about joining this site are for US residents only.

How To Join SwagBucks :
  • Go to the website and create your account.
  • You can also use Facebook to register with the site.
  • If you use your email address, you'll need to verify your account.
  • Once your account is created, you'll need to fill in your profile. This means that you'll be required to choose a username for the site and upload an avatar. Fill in all the other information so the site can send you surveys.
  • The system the site uses is a point system called Swag Bucks or SB points.
How to Earn SB Points on SwagBucks:

Swag IQ
: This is a new app for trivia. Download this and install it on your mobile device. You'll earn points answering trivia questions. If you are lucky and can answer all the questions you'll have a chance to win $10,000 from the app.

Swagbucks Answers: This is the place where you can take surveys. The surveys will earn you 1 to 1000 SB points.

Swagbucks Search Engine: This is powered by Yahoo and you can earn points through the search engine. The points are determined by how often you use the search engine and not by how many searches you make. Normally you can earn 1 to 4 SB for searching online. Many times it is a lot more if you use this daily.

Referral Program: When you refer a person to the site, you'll earn 10% bonus n your account for the number of SB points they earn on the site. If the person earns 1000 points, you'll earn an extra 100 SB points.

Cash Back: Shop online using Swagbucks and earn up to 20% SB points. One way to increase the points you earn is to shop using the gift cards you've earned from the site. This will give you added SB points in your account.

Swagbutton: Download this and install it on any browser. When you watch TV using the button, you'll earn points in your account.

Swagbucks Watch: Another way to earn 1 to 4 SB points is to watch the 30 seconds to 2 minutes videos on the website. You can earn up to $5 a day watching videos.

Trial Offers: This is where you can actually earn quite a bit of SB points. You just need to be careful to cancel the offers after one month. Otherwise, they will charge your credit card.

Games: Play a few of the games on the site and earn SB points.

Hourly Random Winner: If you see your username and avatar on the site, click on it quickly. The site will credit points to your account. Every hour they display a new username and avatar.

Daily Goal: The site keeps track of your points and has a daily goal. If you meet this goal, you'll earn a 10% bonus in your account.

Redeem SB Points from SwagBucks:

You can redeem your points for gift cards. It will take 500 SB points for a $5 gift card. However, if you save up your points you can get a $25 gift card for just 2250 points.

Is it US only or does it accept international members?

I live in Canada, so it's definitely not US only. However, I'm not sure about non-English countries. Even in Canada, I manage to get in some decent points, so it's definitely possible to get points outside of the States without referrals.

Thank you very much! I went to r/Swagbucks and they have a list of countries where it is available:
What countries is Swagbucks available?
  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • Ireland
  • India
  • Germany

Unfortunately there's no Portugal, but here's the list for those interested.

I used Swagbucks almost exclusively for my beer money a few years ago but started finding the surveys were kicking me out more often and, and this was the most frustrating, later and later into them. I'd be ten minutes into one and all of a sudden they'd deem me not what they were looking for.

However I've recently got back into it and after a few short surveys and some video watching I've racked up a few points quite quickly. I'm liking it. And the interface is much easier to use than it used to be.

Yeah. It's very organized and nice. It's easy to do the dailies too. I'm just over $5 worth of points away from claiming a $25 Paypal. Once I get the money, I'll be able to buy FE: Fates Conquest! Swagbucks is DEFINITELY a good starter for someone new to these sites.

What other dailies are there to do apart from the poll and bucks challenge (get an extra 3 for getting 30 for example)?

I can usually meet the first challenge, rarely hit 90 though!

Swagbucks in undeniably the most popular GPT program out there. It's too bad that it isn't available in my country though. Back when I was just starting out doing online work, GPT sites are my friends, lol. And there's not a list out there that doesn't recommend Swagbucks.

There are surveys, videos, ads and even games to do. Recently, there's an addition of a music playlist program where you listen to songs and get rewarded. It is definitely a all-in-one site where there's a lot of tasks to do to earn a few bucks.

There's even passive income when you go and watch television from it. Searching from the site is also another way to earn a few bucks. Then like with any other site, referring people can sure add up to your bucks.

However, the downside is it isn't available for many countries. Aside from that, you would spend some time before you can cash out. And lastly, redeeming the Amazon gift card is better since it has higher value than cashing out in PayPal.

Thought I'd let you guys know that Swagbucks offers some pretty good surveys over on their site. I've already gotten enough points to get a $3 Amazon giftcard, and am just a couple points away from my next one.

100SB on their site is $1, but you can rack up the points pretty fast. I already have a couple of friends who I told about it start using it yesterday and they almost have enough to get a giftcard now.

I would suggest checking it out. They have other things such as videos, offers, and shopping on there as well so the points can add up fast.

If you would be so kind as to use my referral link, I would be extremely grateful. As a college student, every little bit of extra cash helps!

I had my fill of Swagbucks but thanks. I did do a 5.00 survey on there once though, so the site is not totally without merit. I used to like Swagbucks alot more than I do now, but I know some people still use it, so I hope you get some sign ups. I think some people will like it.

I LOVE Swagbucks! I've been a member for quite a long time now. Lately I mostly run the apps though. It's nice because I can pretty much guarantee about 50 cents a day coming in from it for doing pretty much nothing. Not a lot, but it does add up, and they always pay in a timely manner. I usually get Amazon cards, because that's most useful for me, and most likely to have a discount for the $25 one. Cash is available if too starting at $25 minimum, which is great if you are saving up to buy something not from a site they have gift cards for.

Like most sites, their offer walls don't have a stellar credit success rate, so I wouldn't recommend spending a ton of time doing free offers, or you might end up spending 2 hours working only to find out that only one offer ever credits and all you got was 50 cents or something.

Best offers to do, in my experience, are the 1-2 swagbuck ones, not because you earn fast that way, but because they almost always credit, so you at least know you aren't wasting your time. Radium One has lots of those easy ones, and most really don't take long at all if your internet speed is decent.

Oh, this site! I used to like it a lot, especially when they were still building their business. I don't really know how it is know, but 3 years back or so, it completely ROCKED. It was by far the most legitimate site to earn some quick cash hassle-free. Though in the recent period, I've heard some bad things about them... I haven't personally tried them in the recent period like I said, but if that's the case, well, I suggest you avoid it, there's plenty of competition for you to choose that acts and pays better!

Is it difficult to qualify for surveys on swagbucks? That's usually the number one complaint about websites with surveys. The worst is when you have to go though a lengthy qualification test and then you end up not qualifying for it.

^ That is truly the worst. I get so aggravated when that happens.
I used to prowl SB often, had the swagbutton, the whole nine yards. And then I got tired of constantly being 'disqualified' from surveys and never getting credit for completing the offers. Swagbucks is all right. The only reason I truly recommend it is if you do a lot of online shopping and use their cashback system. It's saved me quite a bit of money, but I don't do as much online ordering as I used to.

I've heard good things about swagbucks. It seems to be a one of the more legitimate beer money websites out there. I just haven't heard much about the surveys there.

Swagbucks is definitely a legitimate website. It just doesn't seem like much of a survey site like other sites that are mostly just surveys. Swagbucks seems to be more like Perk.

It's one of the best reward sites out there. I have made over $20 in a few weeks. The surveys are really simple. Thankfully, most of the surveys in SwagBucks are not geographically oriented. There are surveys available for almost every international country and that is the best part.

Anyone out of US tried this website with Hola? I dislike the idea that I can't join it, but anyone tried it with a VPN? Do they pay out or ban your accounts for using them?

I've tried swagbucks a few times now, and I just can't seem to earn very much on there. I do a few surveys, watch a few videos but it hardly amounts to anything.

I'm sure it's a legitimate site, but personally I'd prefer a legitimate site that I can regularly be able to cash out on, but with swagbucks I doubt you'll be able to do that, with the speed at which you can earn.

Aaand yet another legit survey/ads website not available outside of the US. Is the rest of the world really that bad of an audience?
Still, I've heard great things about SwagBucks, and it's always mentioned as one of the best beer money websites. Also, they periodically give away some points (usually around 100) with various time-restricted codes. They're region specific, and they usually get posted on SwagBuck's subreddit, so visit it from time to time.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but I'm in the UK and I managed to join? Then again it's been a while now since I last tried to log in so that could have changed.

If it has, I wonder what happened to my 23 swagbucks I had saved in there, haha...Not that it really matters of course!
