One of the most prominent cryptocurrency wallets in the country of South Africa is the use of the Luno wallet. Whilst this wallet has provided many users with excellent service in the past, and has been given good reviews, the company is now looking to expand their user base by offering interest to the crypto balances of those that use their wallets.

whilst at a first glance this seems like an amazing idea, one needs to consider the risk involved here. First of all, the company aims to include a 4% per annum interest rate. In order for this interest though, the user gives their crypto to the company who then lends out that crypto to other users who need it at an interest rate. This lending process is extremely risky and there is a chance that the person to whom it is lent to may not pay it back and it could result in total loss of your wallet funds.

Is it it really worth it to go through so much of a risk for just 4% per annum? What are your thoughts?

That's tremendous. I would've shared the link here, but I don't know if the forum owner permits that. And no PM section to discuss privately.
Yeah all you have to do is inform the admin that you want to pm someone and then give him reason he may likely enable it for you.

But I know a better way which I am going to do.I will donate to you 20bmf and you should send back 10bmf.Now carefully as you are donating back to me 10bmf there is a reason or note section. That Is where you add the link.Problem solved.:)

Yes it's very encouging that you could earn passive income from the interest rates that they are providing more especially if you buy the dip and understand. But it would not be wise to do this without the full knowledge of a finacila advisor.

On a lighter note though it seems thay luno is resuming it's operations in Zambia.

This is good but in the long run might raise problem for the people of South Africa because it will minimize the balance with other exchange platform and create discrepancy.
