The sheer amount of apps & integrations available is AMAZING and has allowed me to really get meetings up and going WAY faster. Beyond that, Slack is already similar to Discord, so it's really easy to get into if you are used to DIscord. You can use the free plan in most cases, unless if you are a REALLY large company.

NO, this is not good for personal usage, I was trying to say it has a layout similar to DIscord, but really, it's only good in work situations. I'm using this for a long-term school project I'm doing, so I am using it for a work environment.

The company has done well by coming on board,but in this global recession,it must research to give more to the society.It should create ways to put money into the hands or pockets of it users,google and a host of other organisations are being innovative in this regards.It is my personal opinion though

I used Slack when I tried my hand at transcribing. The company I worked for used it to interact with all their transcribers and I liked it because it was very easy to navigate. You don't even need any training on how to use it and it always worked great.
