Safemoon's founder Kyle Nagy, CEO John Karony, and CTO Thomas Smith have all been taken into custody in New York.

SafeMoon is accused by the SEC with fraud and unregistered securities sales. The Eastern District of New York US Attorney's Office has also accused the SafeMoon officials of multimillion dollar international fraud.

SafeMoon is a controversial crypto firm, but nowadays Crypto platforms take it easy.

The experiences I have read from people who have had dealings with Safe moon indicate that it is a scam. The fact that it violated regulatory provisions is enough to be considered scam. I know the SEC has done their investigations before levelling allegations of fraud against them. Let's see how this would pan out.
