What is ReferSion?
ReferSion, Inc. is a company offering their software Refersion for websites that wants to have a reliable affiliate program system in place. I can't tell much about their hosting but it's the usual practice for stable companies to register their domain name for multiple years, because that is their online business plus they own a physical place.
My Experience with Them:
I was part of their marketplace.refersion.com as a member or affiliate but not yet as merchant. From time to time I get a product or two to promote for them so that company that approves of me, I started to promote by way of banners or direct link to their website by way of affiliate linking or what we call as referral link.
PROS and CONS:
PROS:
- Your visitors will have the experience of stability and that consciousness of the company being here for the long term
- You have accurate sales tracking program backing you up and not just some free stats that you need to play a guessing game
CONS:
- They are promoted by a different way.
- They have some restrictions which I did not passed and it's here and I quote:
My fault is that I mentioned coupon codes in the promotion and incentivized traffic but I guess this is a high-quality program. So please be sure to adhere first to their restrictions of promotion so your website will get approved.
