Numedia.biz is a rather unique affiliate program. To make a long story short, you get paid for promoting numedia's TV service and every user who pays for a membership will earn you a commission of $10. That's really nice, isn't it?
However, when I did some digging into the matter, the whole thing is not at simple at it seems to be.
You need to pay money to earn money.
Numedia is very vague on how you can qualify to be a paid promoter and start earning money with their affiliate program. But it didn't take long for me to find out that you need to pay $49.95-995 dollars per month in order to achieve paid promoter ranks where you can increase your earnings. If no one buys the Numedia subscription through your affiliate link, you're screwed.
They're possibly doing illegal stuff.
In April 2018, Tvzion,
a pirate tv streaming site, got sued in court with a lawsuit. Coincidentally, it was soon bought by Numedia, which was a private corporation registered in the Caribbean island of Nevis at that time. It's very possible, that Tvzion decided to escape justice by continuing their illegal operations under a different name.
So you're basically promoting pirated content for money. Even if Numedia does what it says and pays timely, would you feel good doing so? When people find out what you're actually promoting, would they still be willing to take the risk of facing legal action just to watch cheap TV?
Conclusion:
I have not used Numedia's affiliate program, so I can't tell whether it's a scam or not. However, the company is engaged in some shady stuff, and your act of promoting their service could also attract legal trouble. Numedia could be shutdown by authorities at any time, and your earnings would disappear. They are also very vague on how payments are made, and I could only find a few words which hinted at payments made via Visa cards. A good affiliate program should have more information on these details. Therefore, I would suggest you guys to stay away from Numedia.
