So this is kinda cool - I found https://itty.bitty.site/ which allows you to literally just paste HTML code into their site and it will then "host" it for you. But it doesn't host anywhere! The HTML code is compressed and encoded in such a way that it can be placed in the URL - their own about page is an example of this. It's even open source!
The only issue with this kind of thing is that the URLs... aren't exactly user friendly:

Anyway, what are your thoughts on this? What could it be used for? I honestly have no idea, so I guess I'm appealing to you guys to tell me how I should use it lol

Do you mean you have a site with them? Your question is rendered in two different directions. If not and you do not pay them anything, then you should just use it. The only worry would be if you lost any money in it.

I'm not sure what you mean - this service is free, as I said it's open source so anyone could have an exact copy on their own server, but the thing that's special about itty bitty site is that apart from the backend code that builds the website, nothing has to be hosted on it - the URL contains all the data needed to create the HTML for the page. Try it out yourself, and you'll see what I mean :)

In the meantime, here's an example I made myself: https://itty.bitty.site/#ICTman's_B...crHU/PKTjKIUOiybwOuhV+rRARzp6rg+855mUX/+gebkg

I want to thank you for this tip, I never would have found it without you and BMF.

Now I am trying out using a redirect from my own domain to shorten the url. It can take up to 24 hours to resolve.

I have played with this for several hours, but the deal breaker for me was the notice that is displayed when the page is rendered in the visitors browser is very discouraging and would scare most of them away. Then I thought about the fact that even if it worked, I would only be saving a dollar a month. The time spent to troubleshoot any page I might come up with was not worth it. Hey, it was fun and kept me occupied for a while.

Yeah, the alert kinda ruined it for me. It didn't have that before, I guess people were abusing it and so they had to put that up or something? I'm not sure.
Anyhoo, I'm now looking at things like https://surge.sh - that seems quite interesting and much more adaptable. Maybe try that if you're looking for an alternative?

I went off into the deep swamp looking at new stuff I never heard of before. There are all kinds of free Static Site Generators around and you can host free pages on Github Pages. I am going to look into using Jekyll to build a sub blog on my new website, because it's super fast to develop and flexible too. It's amazing how much time I spend just getting blown away by all the new stuff I find while rooting around investigating what I find on here.

Did anybody try use that site as backlink? It would not be bad if we could create few those to build some ranking on search engines. I will try do that and see was it helpful.

The backlinks you'll get will very likely be useless - the sites you make with these tools are like entirely seperate sites. You'd have to do the SEO for both your main site and this other site for the backlink to be worth anything. I wouldn't bother, if I were you.

Ok, Thanks for advice. I will try some other ways like weebly, wordpress and similar sites to make some content. Those free sites I will maintain with some API key or content generator.
