Hi, Most of you know about the latest concept that was running on BMF, to attract more referrals, facebook was a nice platform to bring people from, it was a nice and bad experience at once, i will leave the nice experience for another day .

Here are couple of reasons that really got me mad and made me stop using facebook to bring referrals from (even though , i never used facebook for promotion ).

1- A lot of scammers : People are literally spamming comments with their referrals and promoting fake websites and scammers such as 'content this dude on instagram bla bla or join this telegram for free money'


2- False accusations : Now that's probably the worst part LOL, in a group, i got atleast 3 people accusing me for faking a payment proof saying that usally messages from paypal aren't like that, and it was so hard to convince them that it wasn't fake.

3- Out of contest comments : A dude posted a pub about how ridiculous are people in that group that they keep spamming comments with their referrals, and i commented with 'bro, just avoid them, almost everyone in the group shares scam websites' and within a minute, a dude replied with his referral on a scam website on my comment xD

4- Lack of moderation : like 80% of the groups i posted it, had no moderators to approve the posts, i mean they were there, but you really don't need someone to approve your content, which means more trash posts in the group which removes your chance to get your post appearing for the others , 'posts get up to 100 posts a day'

that was the bad side, i'll be sharing with you the good side later

I believe the reason you have been accused of scam is because many have fallen into many like this and one way or the other ended up been scammed so as not to fall victim again they are taking measure and don't want to take any risk again.

but the problem is that, there are scam links in the whole groups and noone of them is being accused, and when i posted a legit, i got accused lol

One bad thing I hate about Facebook promotion when I want to get referrals , is that most times when I post about a legit site on Facebook , my post will be deleted and I will be warned for spamming

There has been rise in the rate at which people got scammed online, that is why you can not blame those tagged you as being scammer at times. With hardwork, patience and consistence, you will win.

i completely understand their situation, but they accused me for faking payment proofs when they were fine with scam websites being scammed in the comments

If there's something I learn from this is that people are liking sweet but fake deals rather than the legit but low paying job. Considering the current economic situation though, I think it's understandable.

I don't think it's wise to throw money for something which can be done on paid to work websites , Facebook in my opinion is boost the viewing interest (10% spend ) and 90% should be spend on promoting your website or offer page even if someone is promoting his clinic he just finds interested people and then somehow send s offer to them through email because people on facebook are for fun they read emails seriously ( timings are different in different areas as well of world )

Indeed, there are a lot of scammers on Facebook. In fact, cases of fraud are also very prevalent on Facebook when compared to other social media

I hear Facebook has lots of good traffic. For the times I've used it, I haven't gotten any good results due to moderators that aren't so active to approve posts or spammy groups. I'll always say this, Reddit the best for me. It's far from being spammed with little or no competition.

facebook is still the platform that has the highest userbase among any other platform, so yeah, it's currently the best to advertise on because you can target any audience you want there

Their targeting option is really good when it comes to ads but not when it comes to free traffic. You're not sure which group has the highest amount of users from a particular country so it's not geo targeted for people that are into CPA Marketing like me

Thanks for your testimonial. I too joined a few facebook groups to promote my referral links but they are all full of spammers (maybe even spam bots with the frequency that they post)

I gathered that many of the facebook groups ive tried as well as telegram groups are as you claimed - groups built up solely for the purpose of promoting their own links. No moderation. One think you did not mention is that many referral links are blocked by facebook so you have to put spaces in and that's just annoying haha.

Have you tried creating your own community? I have been following your posts for a while and I understand that you are a serious promoter. Maybe the best thing to do is make a group of your own and don't make the mistakes that you see others making.

yes, but what's funnier is that those bots pm you as well advertising their fake and scamming stuff unfortunately, i hope that facebook algorithms get improved to get rid from that

I can so relate with what you have posted here because I have tried advertising my link for referrals on facebook and I was confronted with the following. It can draining promoting ones link on Facebook

I think they dont want to waste their time and data on the site ,due to past experience so this made them not to give it a shot anf try it out

I too have been wanting to build followers on Facebook and I must say that i don't like alot of unproductive conversations am always encountering.

Building followers on Facebook could be tasking especially if youre building for a particular niche. The best way is to create Facebook group.
