Those (like me) with no previous experience of Lightning would be best to get the browser plug-in wallet from bitlum.io - you can get a non-custodial wallet but this is a lot easier and works fine. Or if you use mobile there are links on Microlancer.

Hi Laura, I am a bit of noob to this too. A friend of mine got the Bitlum wallet and for an experiment I sent him 1 satoshi. It took a second, maybe less and no fee. Fees depend on the network you're using, some don't charge, and some (though none that I have found yet) may charge a small fee.

there don't seem to be addresses, you just send whatever amount you like to your wallet to pay things with, and it uses invoices instead of addresses. I wonder why there are not enough workers. Could it be their rates are poor or people don't have enough awareness about the site? Also, having yo pay !ore for your task to be given preference is quite uncommon with similar sites.

I did had a chat with the owner he just wants to keep the website same and does not wants to expand it , some people earn about 1 to 2 bucks a month selling some likes or follow services , some people have posted strange enough task , there is no moderation on the website ,... once I saw a person needing google reviews and paying decent about 6 months back , till now the website has less than few cents of earning and the process is ultra-difficult too

The problem of few users is a common one for any site that is not mainstream and doesn't benefit from saturation coverage in the MSM. If we want the world to change then we need to make the effort, that's why I think it is worth supporting these alternatives to the banker-run crap that is being force-fed to us.

I have not had a problem seeing any new tasks. I know he has recently done a major overhaul, maybe it was not so good before, but now it has good filters that only take a little setting up. Yu can also click "hide" on any posted task and never see it again.
