Most of them are interested in doing Freelancing including me, but there are two types that we have to use the right one on right time. Most of the people asked me few months ago to tie up with them for a long-term. I was interested in doing with them, obviously have some works offline, this caused me to leave those long-term projects.

Short-term projects may get some high pay, but we need to find again and again clients for getting work and at this stage we have to waste our time.

I rely on my own blogs, and offline business, but went in financial issue, due to this reason I have to join Freelancing.

I am currently working for 2 to 4 hours a day on long-term projects for two clients and not interested in applying any more, how about you all?

Normally there are two types of freelancing jobs:
you complete the job receive the payment and move on
You complete an assignment, receive the payment and continue working on that same project.
If you want to build a durable source of income and do not want to remain jobless for long time, long term freelancing is more profitable.

There are several types of freelancing, not just two types. suppose some people hire for a limited time in a week or a month, but some people hire full time. What I seen in my life means they hire in several methods.
1. complete an offer get paid.
2. complete offers get paid daily weekly, monthly
3. complete an offer daily, weekly get paid monthly.
4. complete an offer *** number of times and get paid monthly. and much more types.
The time frame depends upon the client, some would resume on time to time, but some clients hire as long as we are active.

I got a client where I work for an hour every day and the remaining hours are for my purpose. I am not interested in doing freelance all the time because we can make more money by building our own sites.

I once dreamed of doing a freelance job of writing. However, I have an office job that prevents me because I may not have time for that. Even the blog that I planned remained a plan until after a year due to my hectic schedule at work. But it looks like freelancing pays good. And the way it looks, there are lots of freelancing writers in this forum. Maybe when I retire from my job, freelance writing will be my occupation.

Thanks for this post. Freelancing is something that I am looking to get into so knowing what all of my options are definitely helps.

I've had a regular job aswell as freelancer for many years, chopping and changing between the two whenever I've got bored with one. That's the good thing about freelancing, and really you can work for whoever you want, as long as they're paying of course but sometimes that moving around can become unsettling.

That's when I'll apply for a regular job, just so I be got that stability. Trouble is, that last a year or two and then I want to move on again!

I am going to start a long term freelancing job soon as an online tutor. This will allow me to earn more and I am looking forward to do this job. I will also be concentrating more on my online selling.

I will prefer having a long term part-time freelancing job. Just prefer one, because I don't want to get stuck in different long term jobs. I want to do other things too. Depending on my client, will choose the best client as my long term boss.

Yeah, it pays good amount, but we can't able to schedule also we can work from anywhere in this world. The only thing if we are a full-time freelancer then it is best for us.
For those who do job, business will get problems as we all need to maintain family also.

I will prefer the long term freelancing for very obvious reasons.Short term freelancing comes with small pay because it might just be a one off thing, whereby you just do a small job and you're paid off.And you again looking for another job.

Long term freelancing projects can make one be in job for a very one time, when you're in a job making money, you'll not be frustated or depressed unlike when you are without a paycheck at the end of the day.Long term freelancing keeps one busy and you wouldn't feel bored.

I also want to go in freelancing but im confused which skills should i learn. I am thinking of going for either web development or SEO because according to my research these are top skills which mostly people want to hire.

I guess I can do more freelancing work as a normal worker now. However, I might have to make certain adjustments to make sure that I do not put my career at risk. It is important to prioritize when it comes to freelancing.

Today, many people are too busy to write articles or get traffic to their site. This is where the freelancer come in at. If you can write good content, you will have a customer for life. Writing content is one of the most boring thing to do when it comes down to ranking website.

Freelancing is pretty wonderful. It is a proven online job that really works. You can go on forums or chat line to realize that people are looking for freelancer or have freelancing questions.

Hello im been a freelancer now for a long time 10 years and counting. but i want to make a passive income and upgrading to the Next level!

can you tell what are the skills needed for doing freelancing jobs ??,i not have much thats why i even not know the how to find short and long term client but the topfreelancing site alwaysare filed with task and i have seen many top freelancer who made 5 millions $ only doing so with hardwork and skills ;many are doing samein fiverr etc i will try it ;thankx for clarying for newbie !!..thankx !.!..

Well,I think it can be enough,to have a couple of clients,if you want to do freelancing. You can have even one client,if you are receiving many orders from him,to write articles for him.If it is long term it is more better. You don't have to look for another clients every now and then to offer your freelancing services.

I say that Fiverr would be the best place to start. This company is very profitable because they have so many members and people that are looking for writers. The hard part about it is advertising itself.

Yes,Fiverr is a big company, and there are many clients or buyers, who are looking for different services. As we know, there are older members, who already are offering many type of services,so for a newbie is not that easy to face that competition.Only if he can offer some unique services, which other members do not offer.
