Just wondering how to promote affiliate links on television. So it is reachable to a wider audience who never access the internet, especially senior citizens.

That is very true. Tracking sales that come from a link is way easier than those promoted on tv. This is because upon seeing advertisement, most customers will go directly to the seller and not through your affiliate link. Online promotion of affiliate links is way better.

The only way that I think someone can promote affilate links on TV stations is to have a website or social media pages that we will direct audience to click on the links. Because most of the affilate links a long and they are not easy to grab. But if we have the link on our social media page or website, it will be easy to click on.

It will not be possible to promote affiliate links on television but you can promote affiliate products on television without putting your link.

There are affiliate programs that has promo codes and if you are able to refer people then you can make money from it.

All you need to do is to go to television and tell them about the affiliate program and give them your promo code. Whenever people purchase anything with that your promo code you will make some percentage.

Its really been long since I participate in a conversation in this thread.

But yesterday while watching evening news I think I see a list of website was advertise for particular service so I think as they are able to advertise that website then our product can also be broadcasted.

Besides even if it is possible to advertise affiliate link on TV, TV ads are usually quite pricey, ROI might be a bit low.
A better approach might be to redirect that advertising budget carved out for TV ads to means of driving more traffic to the website/landing page on the web.

I think that would be a bit difficult to do actually because affiliate links should be promoted where it can be clicked on and will redirect the user to the main page for buying or purchasing whatever you're marketing. If the television is a touchscreen then it would have been probably the best way to promote your links.
I guess you can still do something about it. You can promote your website on the television and there, they would find the affiliate link to click on.

You know, a link is a directory address that leads people to the website that you want them to visit. I don't know how you can promote this link on tv. It is always long and so I don't know if people can copy it letter by letter.

Unless it has been reduced to some few letter or numbers. That is the reason why the people who promote on tv don't use affiliate links, they advertise the whole company mostly.

I really don't think it would be easy to advertise is direct affiliate link on a TV channel because it's not something that someone can copy and paste from the television screen.
You can only advertise your website on a TV channel where customers would visit and then gain access to your main affiliate link that would lead then to where they can purchase whatever product your advertising.
