I have been thinking of holding some coins for ethereum but before I do that I would like to hear from you guys if it can be a profitable idea, in as much as I know money is found where there's an idea. I have been reading articles and web pages of people who trust in the ethereum coin results of holding the ethereum coin have been a good step since they still have a long way to go. early this year before the break out of covid-19 the ethereum coin was somewhere at $167 at that time a friend of mine a cryptonist told me that it was the best time to buy the coin because whose value became low but i was inconsiderate in that matter but now I regret not holding because it's true that the coin raised from about $167 to about $400 and currently is about $250 profit for just holding one ethereum coin yet this is not the end it's just the beginning.

I therefore think it's a good idea holding ethereum token, do you have objections and important things to consider that can be an advantage or a disadvantage, please share your ideas we are here to help each other make money online?

yep its almost not possible for ethereum to be at same price with bitcoin, also for starters that bitcoin and ethereum are designed differently whereas bitcoin is deflationary while ethereum is inflationary
Yeah, that is just the point l was just trying to make. Ethereum may hit like bitcoin but this will surely take a little much time.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY BITCOIN DEFLATIONARY WHILE ETHEREUM IS INNFLATIONARY, WHAT I KNOW IS BITCOIN IS BUILT ON LEDGER BLOCKCHAIN AND ETHEREUM ON SMART CONTRACTS
Declamatory in the sense that the value inceease

It could take time because more of ethereum base blockchain coins/tokens are already in existence and are doing great so it may not rise easily.

Yeah, that is really the point. This really proof that it will not be any bad idea if someone choose to do long term investment with Ethereum.

Ethereum is the most traded crypto after Bitcoin. It's good to keep coins with potentials to increase. Good ethereum 2.0 has been launched.

Yes it is, it's one of the safest coin to be invested to next to btc.. for me atleast. I believe it will keep rising slowly but expect a higher transaction fees as it happens

the ethereum token is built on the smart contract blockchain for this reason its not meant to be an exchange or money like bitcoin but something like an app running on smart contracts, i think this can can be the reason why ethereum can not reach the value of bitcoin so fast.

The coin has continue to grow, but you have to be careful because it can also come down. For your advise, it depend how long your planing to hold it chose a specific period of time.

The truth is that ethereum might continue to increase further as more awareness are been shown to the coin, and i am quite sure that very soon will get to $1k it might take one more year
Yeah, we can't be certain about some coins but the fact remains that a lot of them have potential just like eth. So it a better option to buy and hold

hold on the caps mate, try reseraching further with cryptocurrencies then especially with ethereum and bitcoin, basically bitcoin as a deflationary currency is that it has a limited number of supply and that the supply will get scarcer as time passes by while ethereum do not have a hard cap on its supply

It is sure a good option to buy and hold but I wonder which would be the best to hodl apart from the core coins that are obvious investment tools to people.

Personally if I am to consider ethereum I won't buy and hold ,I will rather trade it because it volatile now , I can buy when the price is down by 10% and sell back when it is up by 10%.

Yes I think buying other altcoins along side the major one like bitcoin is the way to go now. Buying ripple and eth maybe with link can be a good idea too.

Those are good ideas. LINK is not doing so badly these days and with the recent increase in ripple bringing more investors, I think they are good coins to hodl.

I think that is true for most coins now as they are being influence by bitcoin's price and that bitcoin has been getting volatile with the resistance at 20k price mark

Yes these altcoins are worth the hodl now. I'm holding eth and ripple now though I'm yet to invest in Link. But the latter is worth it for now.

I consider that it continues to be a profitable currency in the long term because its network is one of the most used by the different dapps and blockchain games.
agree, I think this is the advantage that ethereum got over bitcoin that it got smart contracts and you can create tokens and dapps under ethereum too, I think in the future many will still continue to create tokens in this and this will alsi support ethereum as a whole

In my opinion, holding any crypto at this time is too risky, many are about to reach their highest values in history. so a fall is expected soon. There will be a lot of demand when the price rises a little more so that maximum will not last long
