As of 2019 all three of them are now part of the EIG groups. And so their value for the trust is going down. The reason being EIG group is known for poor tech support and the uptime. So I am hoping that the people who are on those hosting sites are already affected by it. And hopefuly they may move to better shared host.

All three companies offer shared hosting plans, which means you'll be sharing a server with other websites. This is a more affordable option than dedicated hosting, but it can also be less reliable and secure. I prefer ipage though

Hey Hermes,

Thanks for sharing the details on iPage, FatCow, and JustHost. Based on the features, it seems like iPage offers the cheapest plan with various freebies. Have you personally used any of these services, and if so, could you share your experience?

Cheers!

Before choosing a web host check if they offer flexibility of upgrading to a higher hosting package, just in case you run out of the allocated resources. Try and check their response time, also if they have a live chat service then get things cleared with them.

You need to choose a hosting provider whose data center is geographically close to your target audience.
Also choose a host that is fairly close to you, since you'll be the one accessing the hosting the most.
