The indian government decided recently to ban the following apps from the country :

Now, that's a huge loss for those apps because india has a very large population, what do you think could ne the reason?

I am from India. All these apps are China based , thats why Indian government took the decision to ban all these apps . Offcourse , lot of people were using this app including me before the ban.

I applaud on their bold and wise move. Other countries especially the southeast Asian countries that are being affected from China's illegal invasion should also boycott China's products and better buy their own local products. We should weaken the China's economy to reduce their aggression towards their poor small neighbours.

That's the issue in wars, governments start it but people pay for it, the devs of those apps did nothing wrong and weren't part of the war

Another funny thing is that China was complaining about that , meanwhile they are banning YouTube , Facebook and other US websites !

Youtube was banned in China long ago, even before the Huawei thingy, A lot of my friends that moved to china was using VPN to upload their youtube videos

China is known for oppression and human rights violations and lack of free speech and to bycotting other countries
But when others do the same they act so surprised

I highly doubt that the Algerian government will do the same
Because this action by India is 100% political

what's the benefit from Bigo live haha?
no benefit, just chatting or meeting new girls, unfortunately in our time all the boys and girls search to make relationships that's why they are using those app

Yeah, the issue is that there are fools who keep watching a livestream between 2 people, like who the hell in this earth would waste his time listening to 2 dumb people talking

China has already banned mostly app and sites even google to secure personal data and sensetive information of country.. why google??? Google has been tracking every single peoples data what they look and search on online and providing to agencies... i think those app were not harmfull as google is... where is EDWARD SNOWDEN??

I agree on the notion that Google has way more impact since nearly everyone is using it. But then China has openly shows the world that they don't care about human's lives. Both are bad.

I think it is high time , we make China know that , they alone cannot fight and win , against the whole world.
Yes , they are good in producing products , but that shouldn't make them , do as they like without considering others.

Well, i guess it's a 50/50 when it comes to leaking data, on a side people lose their privacy and personal interests, but on another side the data of the users can be used for stastics and calculations or even marketing

Wow yes it is and most of the videos are really cringy, and china based apps have a habit of adding malware in them or requesting permission that's not related to the app
