The title says it all. I have been using websites to generate bot traffic and then use it for short links ads but I am not even sure that they will pay me in the end.
I also tried to put ads on a blog and send traffic to it, but the ads detect that they are bots, so I don't earn a lot.
Do you guys have a way of using a VPS to make money passively ? I could help in return by explaining my ways of making money.

Well, I think he is talking about VPN (Virtual Private Networks). I am not sure why he would try to make money by using a VPN service. I have never heard about anyone making money through using VPN. However, I have heard about many people getting banned from money making websites due to the fact that using VPN is not allowed on many money making website, as it is considered a violation of terms of service.

Secondly, a person who earns money through such kind of illegitimate way would end up really badly. You cannot expect to cheat people and get away with it without being punished for that. Maybe they did not get caught because the admin of those money making sites never actually took action against them or verified if they are indeed using VPN. People who use VPN to game the money making sites may eventually get caught and get their accounts restricted. Please also note that some money making sites might allow you to use VPN if you do not violate the terms or rules like creating multiple accounts. Each website has different rules for their members.

Using VPN is risking yourself when it comes to using VPN on money making sites. You should never risk your account. If you want to use a VPN with a money making sites, then it is always a good idea to ask the admin of that site before using a VPN to access that site. Mostly, most of the sites would not allow you to use VPN or proxies at all.

It is always funny the way people think that they can be able to cheat the system by clicking on advertisement themselves or using of bvps. Traffic to your website is something that is supposed to be organic and is not even difficult willing to dedicate the right time and put in work.

I don't really know what a vps is. And I would be glad if you can explain it.
But talking about bot. It is not accepted by all the ads networks. Because it is people like me and you that wants sales to there products that pays for ads on the ad networks. So if bot clicks on the ads, there won't be any sales made. So the person that pay for the ads will lose there money. So it is very bad to generate bit traffics.

Yes, ad networks might have different policies when it comes to content or websites which is being visited by many people who tend to use VPN. I recently came across a site that was actually a revenue sharing site and they stated that they would not pay writers if the articles were visited by users who use VPN. As far as sales are concerned, you are right, bots won't actually purchase anything, this is why many affiliate networks would work with blogs with good, real traffic.

I am not sure if VPN and VPS are the same things, but if you're talking about VPN I don't think it is a good idea to use it to make money. Using VPN to make money is unethical and if you got caught by the owner of the site your id address may get permanently blocked from that site or maybe worst, the website could take some legal action against you if against their policy. So, I can say that it is a very bad idea because I am sure the owner of the website has some tools to check the difference between genuine and fake users.
