These days, it is not uncommon to see teenagers involving in gambling. Some are doing this against their parents will and consent while some take the advantage of their parents irresponsibility.

This act has caused so many menaces in the society. How do you think early gambling can be addressed in the society to ensure that only adult people are allowed to be involving in gambling?

It's better to let teenagers know about gambling and what he or she can do to avoid it, and the reason he or she must avoid it. If you as a father or mother didn't inform them, their peer pressure would handle the work for you.
yeah letting them know about gambling is an important concept or factors , they should understand the concept and princples of gambling , it's important they know all these and actually know or place different consideration and others

That's it. Because if you prefer to hide it from them once day they'll check on it or listen to their friends who chose gambling has a source of income lol. Teenagers must think about their future how to build an succeed.

Although what about letting them understand the danger in it , I believe even if their friend tell them they would actually be very more careful with the way they actually gamble and every other aspect too tho

Yes, as long as they have knowledge about the field and the risks involving in it, it will be very easy for them to avoid it no matter the traps set by their mates because already they have know the risks involving in it.

Knowing the risk involved is the first concept , I believe after that other things would definitely apply , the gambler should consider the risk involved and should note the things to take note of when gambling further

Sure, that's exactly what would help teenagers to avoid what can lead them to massive losses. Because by knowing the outcome of it they can actually step aside no matter how they witness some people making money from it.

I think the best way to address early gambling is to sit them down and lecture them on the dangers in it, that way they should know it's not something they would want to do though some of them might still try it though without the parents consent and also another way is peer pressure which needs to be taken note of by parents, they need to know the kind of peer their wards are hanging out with.

Actually you're on point, because by addressing them early it can help him or her to avoid it because he or she has already know the danger involving in it, it would not be easy to handle if it's getting too late.

The talk only does not solve the problem because the teenager has also friends having this bad habit of gambling so he must end relationship with such people that could let him engaged on gambling activity again to be a little realistic and place every thing in his real place.

This is issue of teenagers involving themselves in gambling have so common in my locality.
They start a little amount of money because they have seen what some other older young boys are doing they want to feel among and some of them their parents are not aware of this. Some their parents don't care about what they do or the get money
It just a big concern

Yes, I believe by letting them know the risks involving in it you have done your own part, at least it's now left for him or her to determine the right action, no matter the motivation from peer pressure.

Actually that's what going on, because they're imitating their peer pressure or their mates. But normally it's a wise decision to show to them the risks involving in it before getting too late I think.

Yes you are right it is good to show to them the risk behind it.
Though some of these kids do not even have respect for their parents.
Some just feel it is normal and some parents also believe that once the grow to maturity stage that they will stop gambling

Let's take a real example, you speak about danger and all these staff and then he meets his friends gambling and then get easily involved in gambling activity, that is what happens exactly, it is not someone adult to do this step on his behalf.

Preventing adolescents from engaging in gambling is important to protect them from potential negative consequences.
Communication and education are key elements in preventing teens from becoming involved in gambling. Creating an open and supportive environment will help them develop a healthy relationship with money and avoid the potential risks of gambling.

I think schools and churches are good places where issues like effects of gambling can be taught to children maybe before they reach the teen stage in such a Way that they cannot be tempted to engage in it as teenagers or adults as well cause i have witnessed adults that are addicted to gambling.

Introducing education about the consequences of gambling in schools and churches can really be beneficial and provide children with more knowledge about the risks and consequences associated with gambling. Being able to educate children about this issue early in their development can help them develop critical thinking and make informed decisions in the future.

Exactly, it's a kind of prevention, showing up to the teenagers the risks involving in gambling can help them to avoid it or reduce their feeling to involve themselves. If teenagers really want to build a good future he or she must avoid what can bring more loses to his or her life.
