Thinking to start my own YouTube channel and post HQ tutorials on a variety of niches and later maybe join the Youtube Partner Program.

Tips to Create a Successful Youtube Channel?

First of all, I'd recommend making sure you've got decent equipment for filming your videos on. A good microphone that sounds clear and a good camera held steadily can make a world of difference between whether people will watch all the way through or switch off at the first opportunity.

Once you've got the right equipment, in order to make a YouTube Channel successful you need to update it regularly with new and unique content that isn't out there already. Creating a tutorial on something that's out there already only enables you to get more lost in a sea of other tutorials and unless yours is so good that it will outshine all the others that are there already, or has something that none of the others have already, it might not stand out right away.

Making sure you tag your videos correctly with keywords can help as well but you'll need something more unique in order to stand out from the crowd. Simply putting "tutorial" as a tag in all your videos will mean your video is brought up with a lot of other videos and might get lost in what's out there already. Mentioning something more specific to the tutorial itself might be more successful.

Once you have your videos you need to market them and post them to social media in order to get the views and likes that you need to become successful on YouTube. I'd recommend posting them on the main social media channels that everyone uses, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ for the most views, although posting them anywhere that has the same niche as the tutorial you've created could be beneficial as well. You can post your tutorials in forums or Q&A type sites where people are requesting help with the aspects you've covered in your tutorial and you might just get fans for life. You need to be posting regularly wherever you're posting your videos as well in order to maximize the potential of your YouTube success. The more followers you have on social media the more views your videos can get too. Also posting regularly on social media about things not specifically related to each tutorial you're producing can help your overall success on YouTube.

If you want to be successful on YouTube, you should not just focus on creating good videos, but also on promoting them, for advertising can be just as important as content quality. Here are some guidelines you should follow:

- Video creation:
  • Keem 'em short: Lately, attention span has greatly decreased, and not everyone will be willing to watch your very detailed 20 minutes long video. You should aim for a maximum of five minutes, at first; you can save the ten and twenty minutes long ones for when you have a larger fanbase.
For the same reason, you should make sure viewers get interested in the topic you're talking about from the very beginning: because of this, you should clarify the theme of the video in the first minute (this is made easier by our next point).
  • Title-Thumbnail combo: Viewers start judging videos even before watching them. Having a clear title, right next to a nice thumbnail, will get your point across even before they click on the link. Funny titles are recommended, especially with puns. People love puns.
  • Lighting: If you want to make a video look professional, then fix the lighting. Unless you want to achieve some particular effects, then it's recommended to put light sources right in front of the subject you're recording and in front of the background (it should be as shadowless as possible). Also, soft lights are great for vlogs, so try to use pretty big light sources. You can also fix lighting color with white balance during post-processing.
  • Audio quality: It has already been mentioned in previous posts, but it's fundamental. Having a good microphone could even be more important than having a good camera (nowadays, even a medium tier smartphone will work, as far as images go). Undesired background noises are extremely annoying, and they make achieving the next point much more difficult.
Also, please don't breathe on the mic. Just...please.
  • Add some background music: If you usually watch movies, you have probably noticed you can hardly find completely silent sequences: YouTube videos are just the same. Always keep some background music (bonus points if it's related to your video's topic), but never make it louder than your voice. The ideal volume level is just above barely hearable when you talk, and slightly above that when you keep silent for some seconds (like when you're displaying some pictures or something). Watch out for copyrighted music, though.
If you can't find anything, remember YouTube has its own royalty free music library. Some of them may sound generic, but give them a try, they're better than anything at all.
- Video content:
  • Be different: Alright, this may sound cliche-y, but there must be a reason if it gets mentioned so often. Producing original content is the key to stand out, so avoid gameplays of popular games (you may find some viewers, but it definitely won't grant you a good reputation, nor it will make your channel really successful) or just random vlogs or tutorials. Try to find your own niche, get good at it, think out of the box to make a new, interesting format, and work on that. It will take time, but it pays off.
  • Don't get stuck on the same format: Keep your channel active with different kind of videos, even if they belong to the same field. Try different formats, so that each viewer can find something to enjoy (as the say, to each their own). You can also ask some friends to help you out.
  • Try not to be too generic, at first: As I said, you should try to create your own niche, so how about focusing on a particular subject at first? (e.g. a videogame series, a movie genre, a hobby) If you create good videos, you'll probably be soon noticed by dedicated fans of the subject, who could spread the word and increase your fanbase. This also makes advertisement easier.
- Video advertising:
  • Be social: Use socials of any kind to make your channel known. Facebook will be your best friend, shortly followed by Twitter (best used for quick updates) and Instagram (this may sound weird, but it's getting more and more popular lately, and you should not underestimate that; backstage photos are usually interesting to look at). Remember to put your social link in your videos' description.
Also, I highly recommend using Reddit, too: it's easy to find small-to-mid subreddits focusing on your videos' topics, and they may be a good way to get started. This also brings us to the next point.
  • Keep in touch with your fanbase: You're making videos for your viewers and subscribers, so try to get as close as possible to them. Answer their comments, always give them updates, get feedback and use it to improve your content; also, try to get them involved (e.g. play online with them, make them -or things they said or even made- appear on your videos, etc).
  • Tag your videos properly: Categories are really important, as they make your videos easier to identify (they can also make your content appear higher in search results).

For Tutorials channel it is easy to get success because we can make videos easily with captions.
Things to remember before starting and after stated channel.
Make the channel name as the exact keyword of the Tutorial as we all know these things.
Make social accounts on the same channel name, pages, etc.
Get a list of sites where the YouTube video tutorials are allowed. Make sure the list should be active and you must get an account.
Get more friends, followers on Social networks those who are interested in the tutorials

Now here we go for getting video in top place.

Once you made the video, it should be in short as much as you can. Upload it to the Youtube, Make a catchy title, tags as this is the important thing than a video content, use some auto views or buy views from a reputed website, so they won't look fake ones.

Ask your friends for liking the video, comment on it, if they can't do, try to hire some people who can work with you or use comment exchange sites for getting comments. You should have nearly 500 views on the first three days for getting a video to be successful. All these things should be arranged before publishing the video.

Submit the video wherever it is allowed, share the video on Social bookmarking, social media sites.

Once you get enough views, comments likes, move to another video else complete the above criteria for getting YouTube channel successful.

First of all build more subscribers than posting videos. There are a lot of sites where you get free subscribers for a long period so test and use them.

Make accounts on Forums related to channel tutorial niche and be active in that forums. Use signature of your channel while posting on them.

Build great fan base on social network sites using genuine method for promoting these videos.
Comment on blogs where the tutorial is described in text format. Make sure while commenting use your YouTube channel url instead of your site url.

Subscribe on the related video channels and comment first for every video as possible because first comment is view able just like a description and everyone keeps an eye on top comment just like a top result in search engine.

Make sure you should be commenting as your channel instead of your account name.

Repeat the above methods everyday, never stop or start another channel until you have enough subscribers.

Hire some people for commenting, liking viewing your YouTube videos.

People say Content is king for blogs, in the same manner Stats are important for YouTube videos. The more views, comments, likes subscribers are the way to become a successful channel.

Make sure you should reply for every comment atleast say Thank you for your reply so gradually it looks more active channel for everyone, including Search egnines.

Hope this helps for you and others too.

I have no video channel on youtube because I do not know how to make videos. However, I also have plans of doing my own videos using the footages in my camera. And the advice I got from my husband is to make an interesting video that a group can relate to. For example, I can make videos about pets since I am fond of dogs and surely my friends who are dog lovers will patronize my video channel. Let us see if that works for me.

First is very important to have some original name for you channel. Other very, very important thing is to make good quality videos that are original and interesting to you audience. It is also very important to decide who will be your audience, men, women, young people, older people... After that you have to know that it takes a lot of time and effort to make good videos and a successful channel.

Making videos for monetization is almost the same with blogging because you need to be active to make money.you signup and create your channel, then you research on the topics and keyword to use.Let your topics be quite fresh to capture the minds and eyes of people or else you might not get views when the exact thing as been out there for ages, you know the heart of man, always looking out for new things.

Let your video audio and visuals be almost perfect or perfect, whatever it is should be interesting, valuable and informative.

Promote it in all your social media accounts.Share it on blogs and forums and don't forget to instruct them to like, comment and subscribe to your channel.

Tips to Create a Successful Youtube Channel?
All you have to do is create a channel that discusses on how to help people with something. People are more eager to learn if it's something that will benefit them. I know I would. Usually it is how to make money online.

Upload schedule - You have to know when your going to upload but most importantly your audience have to know.
Type of channel - focus your channel on a topic like gaming,
Invest in a gaming microphone - You need to talk with your audience throughout the videos
Those are my tips, good luck!

When I write, I need to attach videos to my articles for additional impact and support. I always embed a video from youtube because I do not know how to create one. If you are able to create your own channel, just let me know as I may be able to use some of those with my articles.

I am not sure what success implies. Do you want subscriber or money? Because that would be different success. Do note that 1 million subscribers does not equal to money. Some may watch and end up not watching. So it depends on what it means for you to be success here. Just make sure to promote your videos and see where it takes you. That way you can see how it helps with the revenue and the subscribers both. That's what I have learned along the way as well.

I think that would work. If you have anything that would help people, you would be very profitable on this. I would not introduce my offer until I earn their trust.

I think, that your video must be very interesting,to capture the interest of the visitors, and who will watch till the end the whole video. After a while, when you have a bigger amount of subscribers, you can search for ways,to monetize your video channel.

Exactly. It has to be interesting in a way that you wont have to invite for the viewer because the viewers will automatically go to your channel to subscribe. Ask your self "what makes you subscribe to a channel?, and your anwer are the same factors that you should consider before starting a channel on youtube.

Just find something that would be interesting for people. One of the would be being successful online as a business owner. Just keep them motivated.

I think it is important,if you have success with your video, that you keep posting continuously,if not after watching your interesting videos, the visitors won't come back to your site. So,there is a huge work even if you have success,to keep that level of success and income.

Videos are perfect when you are writing article because it can illustrate your point. People more interested in videos than reading articles.

First of all, you must be well versed in those topics that you will be talking about and if you will be narrating your videos you need to play on the words and the tone of your voice. You may get some people to review your video before posting. You can get some ideas about the things you need to improve on. You also need to promote your channel/YouTube videos and you can use social media for that.

You have to have something that would catch people attention. Usually its something that solves problem or give useful insights.
