Scorpions are one of the top choices of people that like reptiles as a pet. There are both forest and desert scorpions and both of them have a fluorescent color when a ultraviolet light is flashed on them. Scorpions are not aggressive unless they feel they are under threat.

How much does a Scorpion cost to buy? My main interest is in an Asian Forest Scorpion. View attachment 295

Scorpions range from about $30 to $150.I would not prefer a scorpion as a pet because they are lethal. Most people need pets they can handle and handling a scorpion is risky because it can sting you so many people use tools to handle them or move them from one place to another

This is yet another surprising thread that I've ever come across on keeping animal as pet. keeping scorpion as a pet is a surprising thing in my country because we regard scorpion as a very harmful and poisonous insects. when I checked for the price that could be sold, it's was $50.

Scorpion is not to be kept as a pet. It is very dangerous and poisonous. The only time people love to see this animal is when they want to extract its venom for some medicine.

The venom could be use for medicinal purpose and that is the essence of using the scorpion. keeping it as a pet is quite dangerous because I do not think that it could be controlled.

It cannot be controlled or even tamed. When it sees human, it makes sure it stings him. They are very common in humid area.

I have no idea how much a scorpion can cost, it is beautiful, intriguing as an animal, but I would not like to have it around the house, I am enough and I have my two cats left over, which give me a lot to do to take care of them properly

I do not see how scorpion could be controlled if it is kept as a pet. This is absolutely impossible but if the thread poster know a way to train a scorpion without getting harmed, he should tell us.

I know a person who keeps it in a case, exactly with snakes are kept, I personally would never do it, they are animals that deserve respect, and I absolutely do not feel like giving them any kind of confidence, even simply having them in the house underneath. a heavy unbreakable glass cover

Keeping of scorpion as pet should not be tried out at all, because it could be very dangerous. It's a kind of animal that cannot be controlled, no matter what.

May be there is a country that allows it. But in my country it is not allowed because the sting of scorpion is just too venomous and be dangerous in the environment.

It is not a matter of the country allowing you to grow a particular thing. I think it is a dangerous adventure, if you are rearing scorpion in your compound.

But for the poster to talk about rearing it. It means there are some countries that allow it. Majorly they may allow it to extract its venom may be for the production of drugs.

The benefit of this scorpion maybe to remove the venom for medical uses. I just guessed that that maybe the major reason for rearing scorpion.

In this case, there must be proper monitoring of those scorpions not to crawl out of their csges because they are nocturnal and are very dangerous in the night.

Someone that is rearing this type of animal would be extra careful, because it could be so dangerous to the community at large.

I think those that always rear them have some anti-venomous vaccine on them because I always wonder why the scorpion never sting them.
