Organic search results are listings on search engine result pages (SERPs) that appear organically based on their relevance to the user's query. These listings are not affected by any form of payment. Conversely, paid search results are advertisements. Advertisers compete for specific keywords, and their ads are shown when users search for those particular terms. The advertisers only pay when users click on their ads, hence the term "pay-per-click" (PPC).
