However all the resources I found online about the whole issue is to learn about web development/ designing skills online. There are plenty of online programs that covers the same for free. I have been advised to learn about HTML, CSS, JavaScript. So these principles would get me covered on the basics of web development and I can advance to a higher level from there.

I think you should not focus on that for now, rather what you should be concerned of, is how you can constantly keep improving yourself on a regular basis, being updated on the latest trend in tech, your only competition should be competing with yourself and that way, you would definitely become a pro in no distant time
