I have had someone opened disputes opened against me after selling a digital products to him and delivery was perfectly done. He opened a dispute and I defended it with evidences to paypal but he was favoured, then I had to appeal against this. Would this make paypal change it's decision if further defence is brought up?

Were you sanctioned for the transaction, if no sanctions were made then there should not be much of a situation as paypal doesn't really make much fuss over complaints if some are false.

My husband received a Paypal dispute from an admin of a defunct forum. The dispute is the refund of the money paid to my husband. In response, my husband reasoned that the money was paid for his work in the forum which is for paid posting. Paypal said that they will study the matter and that after 30 days when my husband doesn't receive another notice then the refund is declined.

That's my point exactly, most times paypal just needs to build facts around the dispute and this might take time so if there's no fact then nothing happens.

before approval, they usually give a few days for proof, but if you have already lost, chances 10%
also the decision often depends on the rating ...

The truth is that PayPal do favor buyers more when it comes to dispute. So the chance for sellers to win in appeal dispute is always very slim but keep pressing to see how it goes

I have never really experienced such a situation with PayPal before. I guess it can be really hard to win PayPal disputes. But just try your best maybe you will win the appeal. I read somewhere that it also depends on the person available when you contact them. Some are more understanding than others.

It is always about the mode of presentation. When once the facts are established then the person is winning. So the fact before them should be as real as possible

Never had any problems with PayPal before but heard about people asking for unreasonable refunds. Guess you just need to wait and provide proof they will ask

I don't have much to say about the issue because I do not experienced such situations before. But I can just say that maybe you should keep contacting with them.

I have not heard about PayPal disputes. I only know about banning some people due to fraudulent activities or for wrong use of the platform. Yet, if there is no substantial evidence by the accuser, you will surely win the case and PayPal will not do anything against you

From the little information I have gathered i think it is good to transact with trusted sources on paypal and also endeavour to keep all records that can help you build facts when you start or want to defend a dispute.

That is right. Otherwise most people don't win those disputes if they have irregular payments from different merchants. But having a consistent record helps you win the case.

Most definitely it would be easy to win Because there is a lot of references but all in all PayPal remains a very good payment processor. The hope should always be that you do not get on the wrong side with them.

Though its not so easy to win PayPal dispute because I had experienced it once when I transact with somebody and the payment was made to me successfully . But suddenly I received a message that I was ban for 180days because they detected that somebody one to do something on my account and in order to protect my Account they needed to suspend it.
I was so surprised ; so I wrote them on different occasions yet they refuse to release my account until when that 180 days completed.

Well That Happens Either When They Get Sure That Someone Else Made A Succeeded Successful Purchase Using Your Account And Against Their Terms Then They Won't Agree In This Situation To Be Honest

Honestly I really don't know how to go about this, PayPal is a generic body and the can't side one person against the other,we can't conclude because we don't Know whether what you are saying is the truth.

I know PayPal isn't crazy they wouldn't allow fake claims by any merchant. Every complaints must be in accordance to what is deemed right and it will be backed up with proofs that shows the defender is right on the dispute of no wrong doings. PayPal doesn't take it lightly with fraudulent activities, that's one of the negative act that leads to users account infringement.

Anybody with glaring evidence may likely win PayPal disputes. In your own scenario, your buyer might have presented strong evidence against you which made you lose to him. Winning against PayPal now is slim as they do favour buyers than sellers. But I am sure they always give reasons to what they do.

I have actually won PayPal appeal when I sold a sneaker to someone in nearby Ghana. It was a lengthy process but I had to follow it up. Documentation is key to winning a PayPal appeal. Just furnish PayPal with irefutable conversations where you clearly stated things to the buyer. I had to submit purchase receipts and chats I had with the buyer.
