Slidejoy is a smartphone app for Androids where they put ads on your lockscreen. Whether you swipe right to dismiss it or left to view it, you get points either way. You can either use your points for gift cards, get a money transfer to your Paypal account, or you can donate the money generated from the points to charity.

It's a slow process earning points (though you earn more if you view the ads, and you can make the process go by faster by just sitting around all day locking your screen over and over again), but it doesn't slow down your phone and it's nice to make money from your lockscreen. So far I've only been able to earn a $5 gift card (proof), but then again I don't use it regularly.

It's not something that's going to earn you enough money to break the bank, but you'll be able to earn a few $5 gift cards or money transfers a year, if not more, depending on how much you use it.

I am using this app, no issues. Problem with slidejoy app is low earning rate.

Sent the email on Saturday and it's Thursday now and still no reply... :/ I see others (such as the member above) have gotten paid since I experiened the error so I'm worried that problem is on my end. Anyone know a better way to contact SlideJoy? Do they reply faster on social media?

They have temporarily disabled Paypal payouts due to "issues" (not specified). I've been having trouble cashing out for months. I hope whatever they do will help fix my problem.

I'm not exactly sure... I'd been having problems for months even before they made this announcement that Paypal had problems.. I already uninstalled the app because I don't want to keep using it if there's no hope of cashing out. Do update us if they bring Paypal payments back.

That's really a drawback in the application ,don't you have other options to cashout ? .I will try to cashout through mobile recharge ,not sure if it works though .

My other options are Hotels.com giftcard (useless to me) or Facebook Credit (also useless). I think they have Amazon gift cards for U.S. users. I guess I can try to get that when I go back to the U.S., but I'd still prefer Paypal.

Guess it wasn't a problem with my account. I just redeemed for the $2 Amazon gift card and they sent it instantly. So this app is still very legit, but they're just not supporting Paypal at the moment.

@Hillary - You can use more than one lockscreen with SlideJoy. However, some lockscreens won't work properly with SlideJoy so they might crash. I don't use the Wowapp lockscreen, but I've used WHAFF Locker, UENTO Lockscreen, LockerPoints, and Current Lockscreen with SlideJoy and I never had a problem.

Slow, but still paying. They increased the price to redeem as well, but I guess it can't be helped. At least they are still paying instantly... but Paypal is still "temporarily" down.

Unfortunately, it looks like they've removed Paypal completely now. All I see are gift cards. I don't mind getting gift cards (I might actually prefer them), but it's a bummer for international users.

Amazon, but they also have other stuff like mobile top-up, Walmart, Hotels.com, Playstation, etc. Even Visa cards are available, if you're looking for cash. I just personally prefer Amazon so I get them whenever I can.
