Apple had a policy with Epic games that it takes 30% of the purchases that are made throught the app as a fee, Epic Games recently made a direct payment method so the players can purchase directly from the game without the need of appstore, which is against Apple's policy, so Apple removed Fortnite from its store.

EA doesn't work like he stated, EA offers a lot of offline things to purchase that aren't really necessary to complete the game, known as DLC's ( add-ons), unlike the multiplayer game where you purchase stuff for advantage over the others and boost your stats
Well in FIFA they sell FIFA points and you don't fully need them to succeed, but they will boost your chances very much, because with them you buy the packs (you can buy packs with coins but it is very expensive), so their microtransactions and dlcs are not required, but close to required.

well yeah, those purchases save you a lot of time, but there's no fun buying stuff that you are supposed to hard work for (fun is about setting goals in some games :p )

Back some time ago EU parliament and US government want to pass a bill that will classify lootboxes as a form of gambling. They should've passed it already if not because of those damned corporate's lame excuses like "surprises mechanic" BS. Purely cosmetic in-game items should be banned tbh.

Yes, but thats the only reason fortnite still exists to be honest, that game only makes money from kids buying some kins or pickaxes or whatever that are purely cosmetics and have no use what so ever

I agree ,there was a game called combat arms i used to play as a kid.It was so difficulty to level up and unlock weapons but god damn it was so rewarding emotionally. Then they ruined it with pay to win
guess what, here it is installed on my pc xD

and yes, it's kinda sad to see people having advantage over you just because they paid money, completely unfair as it should be more than a skills matter, but as people stated in a lot of posts here, companies do care only about money
