I do the same thing as well and to be honest the only time that i come across these coins is when i read a good news article about them because that is what makes me research them even further.

Many coins have the same bullish patterns. Traders usually cycle profits from one coin into another, and filecoin being one of the major caps seems of interest to them now.

Long term holding is a good idea, but i doubt that there would be many to do that as many use these smaller coins as a short term trading opportunity as opposed to a long term trade.

As for me , coins with good use cases will go a long way in giving high return. This is the reason why I engage in long term hodl of some coins

Which wallet do you make use of when you hold a coin for a long period of time if i may ask, as the multi currency wallets that i have seen are generally software wallets which could have security concerns.

If the software wallets are Decentralized then there is no issue here because it is your keys that will secure or put the coin at risk

In my Italian social commerce there is an article dedicated to filecoin, telling it's a cryptocurrency with a good potential. I saw its increasing value in the beginning of the year, after having discovered this new cryptocurrency. I discovered filecoin while I was searching for a way to how to withdraw a bitcoin payment: as bitcoin withdrawal fees were higher than the received payment, the only way to not leave them stuck in the exchange while avoiding to lose my payment into withdrawal fees, was the filecoin conversion. So filecoin has the further advantage of easily affordable fees, even when we receive a 3 or 5 dollars worth payment. I can say I'm grateful to filecoin due to my happening in the beginning of 2021.

I like FIL since the whole project setup seems to be quite sustainable with a great team behind, with great sponsors behind and a fantastic outlook to expand their platform. I am in since first moment I finished my DYOR and I think it will growth much more.

The coin have potentials to rise a lot of people that invested in the coin last year and still hold it would be making gains now , because there was a time the coin price was just $23

Check for its price after you've made this thread if FIL coin is making the progress. At the moment it isn't making lots of progress but the future is bright.
