European digital currency exchange Eterbase was hacked and around $5.4 million worth of crypto was stolen. The funds were most likely transferred to other exchanges and so Eterbase decided to seek help from those reputed exchanges like Binance. If the exchange company decides not to accept those stolen funds, then the hackers won't be able to get access to it and the funds may be retrieved for good.

I wonder what the development is about the Etherbase hack and if the funds were traced and recovered. I hope the exchange did.

I think even binance that dosent require kyc to send crypto am sure they might have move part of the crypto currency to other exchange site

Ofcourse once there is any scam in any cryptocurrency exchange site , they will notify others about it and they will thus work towards stopping it

Atleast those popular ones like Binance , coinbase , and other ones can come together. These are the ones that most people use. New ones can join them when they begin

Yeah they are the one that most people use but those hackers doesn't use them ,they usually use non popular and smaller exchange sites to avoid tracking

Still revolving round popular ones because they will first use the popular ones to steal the funds and then send it to the non popular ones.

If they can recover the stolen coins it will be good, and they were intelligent enough to seek for help from other exchanges. I hope they succeed recover the stolen coins.

Well that's the problem . But then what goes around comes around , so if they fail to cooperate with other companies , when it is their turn , they won't cooperate

There are other crypto exchange site apart from uni swap that is very popular , so am very sure they would take it to another exchange site to avoid been caught
