He is currently value at $167 billion behind the Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos with net of $187 billion dollars.
Elon Musk company made about $140 billion profit amidst the pandemic.

His company is expected to be added to S&P 500 index this Monday.

Retiring doesn't mean he won't be active. You know Amazon is a public listed company like Microsoft, Apple so founders may retire or step down as CEO some day.

You are right, I also believe that some of their wealth might not even be accounted for , some they don't even access them yet it is theirs.

You are right though Jeff Bezos has not declared that he has Invested in cryptocurrencies but as for stocks and other forms of investment he is into them.

Poor have their own issues- where would the money for the next meal come from, how would one survive a disease etc.
Middle Class have their own challenges - Fees for education, paying off loans etc

The Rich have their own issues- where to invest, whom to keep as friend etc.

The thing about the Battle of the richest people in the world is that they are always closely packed together. 20 billion might look like so much money but do not be surprised when you will see that Elon musk is going to breach that within three months or even less.

But he has become the richest man in the world a few months back so he has already. it didn't even have to take him long after this news to beat Bezos to it. So Jeff Bezos is at the second position as I write now. but yeah they are always in close proximity meaning that if one is not too strong the other will just take over in a blink. So the competition is rather stiff for them.
