It is rather complicated thing to do. Selling expired food and drink is law-breaking. But selling expirer food for feeding animal is allowed

it really depends on what kind of expired item you are selling, if those are expired food then it would depend if it is safe to eat or not, as some expired food can still be eaten without any issue provided the expiration date is just a day or two past. He can sell those expired products for discounts

This is very risky if a human that God created want to take such action after knowing very well that its a bad act doing this evil,if he is not careful he will be arrest and put to cell so the most important thing now is that you must advice him to stop those things and advice the person to stop selling those items.

I dont think it safe to do. Expirate date is much different from best before date. If best before date, in think it is still safe to sell and eat

Food and drugs act prohibits, its not appropriate to assume that the consignment or food article is fit fir hums consumption.Anything expired can have medical complication effect so it's important to heedo guidelines.

I generally live in a third world country and eating food past a day or two from its expiry date as long as it is still good and do not have molds is kinda usual here

I would not encourage you to sell products that are expired, regardles the country. There is no law that approves the sell of expired articles and you might land yourself into serious and proscutable charges under the food and drugs act. That goes to @microunit aswel ,domestic decisions can't be categorized as public food laws.

one funny thing is that you need to know that what you are doing is not good and the person is somebody with concience so after starting this thread and see people opinion I have rushed to him and advice him to do away with those product thou he is going to suffer some loss.

Yeah its a lesson well learnt, maybe next time the person should determine how much consignment to purchase for resale and check the longevity or expiry date. Then sometimes it's not the problem of expiry date as per say but the technical application of first in first out principle in the stocking and releasing of consignments. What that means is that when you have products coming in,don't release or mix your new consignments with the old at a go.better every time you have new products then the one to release is old products.

THAT is a very wise and economic suggestion provided you don't damp trash or harmful articles in the environment. Most recycled products are labelled and they are friendly or biodegradable substances but there are some that are so harmful to the environment such as a chemical called DDT.AM AN ENVIRONMENTALIST SO I LOVE HUMANS AS I ALSO LOVE NATURE.

That is not really the case the problem is that sometime you buy a product that wasnt well examine,so there is a need for you to check and examine that any product that you want to buy is been check wethar its expired or not, sometime you buy in bulk but forget to check the expiring date and when this product expired you run a big loss.

Oh yeah you are definately right on that aspect should be put into consideration aswel.Don't know if there is a rule of minimum date of expiry for products you are buying in bulk from a manufacturer.I don't have information on that and how it is done.

Yup are right dude. Some food may get fermented or rotten and those may not be recycled in case might contain harmful chemical

first of all, and what you should know, is that, that's straight scam.
and of course there is a huge profit as expired products are cheaper and easier to sell as people try to get rid of them as much as possible they can

In some countries where there is shortage of food problem and law is not strengthened, such thing may be more tolerarated by people

Hi there,
It depends on what product. If it's food/drinks then i don't think anyone would want to buy that ? Unless they really can't afford to buy a good quality food so they have to survive by eating that but seriously expired food would be so bad for health, even have mold in it.

well, you're just basically being selfish in this case, since you want only about money and don't pay attention to people's health, expired foot can cause some serious damage to people and even kill them

That's correct. If it's something that can be used to feed animals then it's not bad. Another good business that flows with expired products is selling them to people who are involved in recycling. With this, the person is rest assured he is doing the right thing.
