Personally, I know if I were very fluent in English. I could earn a lot online. I can be an online teacher or do articles professionally but I am not so I find other ways to earn money. I tried everything to be fluent in english. I can't do it. I don't know why. Most Filipinos can easily learn any language that's why there are many call center in our country.

I think it is good to have some knowledge of the English language.But I don't think ,that you have to be fluent in English to work online.It is enough to be good in English.As I see,you are pretty good in English,so don't give up,be more confident.Good luck to you!

Thanks, my other foreigner friends also said that I am good in english. I know I should learn more about english grammar. My friend earn online and have daily salary because she is an online teacher. She teaches Koreans and Japanese

I can say your knowledge in the written English language is almost next to being excellent. Maybe you're a bit shy and nervous when it comes to oral/actual speaking or conversing in the English language. Thanks, I agree there are many opportunities on my way. I just need to do best in everything I know will help me to be successful. If I failed, atleast I did my best.

It would be an added factor if we can express our ideas in English because this is the universal language. But it doesn't mean that knowing only the basic can be a hindrance to our success. We can use some online tools to check our grammar and spelling. What is important is we can communicate and we can able to impart whatever knowledge or skill we have. As I can see, there is nothing wrong with the way you deliver your ideas. Additionally, not everyone who comes online is a native English speaker.

Sometimes I feel it is hindrance by the way thank you for encouraging words. I agree English is a universal language so it is really advantage if we learned speak and write properly.

yes I think english is important to work online because this is the only language which can connect people from all over world , English definitely helps to work online and communicate.

That is true. English give a lot opportunity to people who live in a third world county like Philippines. I can earn some money because I can understand and write english even not fluent.

I believe it's pretty hard for them to understand how to make money online and they quit because of this reason.

Maybe it's to do with my personality, perhaps morals, perhaps cultural differences, but if my English was excellent, I wouldn't do anything with it. I'm way too considerate and thoughtful to just, say, "teach" by some random script. I'd pretty much instantly derail from that script and "teaching" would become a sort of science. I'd need to develop and understand a whole new set of expertise I'm missing now and would be missing for the coming few years at least because the script is only just a concept of what the aim there is. Teaching isn't just a word of mouth, really.

Some people can just ignore those vital factors and "be themselves", as they say, perhaps even have the benefit of the blissful ignorance too... I used to be jealous of such people, now I'm holding a bit of grudge against them. Things could have been done better, some people just don't bother understanding but rather exploit the system which pretty much fucks up the system for somebody else.

All I'm saying is that knowing a language alone is far from enough is some cases.

Do you think it would be easier to have an international section on forum?
I don't know where are they from, but you could see from their IPs where they are frequently coming from and maybe make a few subforums in their native languages.

I agree with the others. Knowing basic english would really helpful already.

Atleast you can express yourself or atleast you are understood is whats important. If we are having difficulties , you can find anything on the internet such as google translate, grammar checks and everything that will help you convey what you are trying to tell someone or understand someone.

But if you would really would like to learn good english, both written and oral. Written english is already good, but its always better if you can speak and pronounce english words as well.

Being fluent in English helps a lot with writing sites and forums. If you are not sure about it you can always use grammarly.com to help you check your grammar before posting anything. I hope this was helpful :-)

I honestly do not think it's a draw back due to the fact that it is online. I believe they look more into can the person write in proper English. Secondly speaking English is just a bonus but not required for online unless you are required to speak to someone such a voice over personal.

Start writing articles by yourself every day write it about different niches this is what i do every day .
