Everyone wants to become a successful earner. Whoever starts the business for the first time wants to earn huge money from here so that he can be settled in his life. For the success, many people take many steps to learn about that particular business or platform. Some may take classes, some may read books and some may even enroll for professional courses.

there are many books available both online and offline, regarding how to be successful in our business. Many people had read the books and many even have succeeded after reading and implementing from what they have learnt from those books. Have you ever read any such book regarding how to be successful in business? I once read 2-3 books, but I did not found anything special about those books. The books were only focused on how to develop self discipline.

Well, I'm sincere and first of all, I'm starting to tell you that I don't like reading.
However, I could imagine that there were books or e-books, which could explain also to people like me, who maybe would like to start from zero. But nevertheless, it seems that you have clearly given the answer, in the conclusion of your thread, by saying that you have not found anything of interest on the subject.
In fact, I believe that self discipline is a completely separate chapter.

Reading motivational books either online or offline has been doing a great help to people most especially when you needed help in getting out of a situation , but the only issue is that one need to be careful not to get brainwahsed by motivational speakers book.

Self-help books are one of the things that I have always discovered that can be able to help you to build your confidence as well as to keep you motivated in the journey. There are some books that I have read like the rich dad poor dad and the richest man in Babylon that have been able to shift my thinking about how the business world is and how to get the best out of it.

Well, this is because I want to be realistic and live in the real world and not in the ideal that it doesn't exist for anyone.
However, usually many people change their mind, but only after have made a wrong choice. And this is applies for everything.

Yeah, motivational books sometimes gives you so much confidence that can be misdirected sometimes. You need to be really careful about which advices you take from reading those books. Only do what is practical for you. For example, you cannot be told to invest all your money and you just do so. You will end up not having anything for your bills, and if the investment goes south, you loose everything you had .

There are good motivational books but the worst ones are just too much out there misleading people , and that's why its very important to always sit down after reading a book , digest the book to your own knowledge and bring something good out of it.

I always try to read books that can be able to help me in order to become successful because I believe that one of the ways to success is to look at people who have done it before. I can be able to learn from the mistakes it has made or I can be able to learn about their own strategy and see how it is applicable to today's world.

Yes I do. I read them because these books helps us to be greater peole. When you read these books, you'd realize that the authors share real life experiences with the readers so that they readers could learn from it and they wouldn't make the same mistake that they have been making. One person cannot be able to know it all about making money by it online or offline and that is why I try to also take from the experiences of other people as well. I always try to read books especially from influential people on world leaders to try to see things and business from their own point of view and it has already expanded my knowledge base about how to handle customers and come up with good ideas.

Yes I do read books from time to time by my couch when I don't have anything especially to make good use of my time I take a relaxing shower and then read out a particular subject to improve my knowledge I focus mostly on personal development because books still teach you a lot of things that remain stuck in your mind as you repeat in your mind and make you a good person in process

Yes there is nothing to special in most of the books. Because they are not really teaching us how to build a successful business. But I you are careful with what you read in the books. You will notice some tips that you can use in your business.
It is from a book that i read a story of a man gave up on a gold mine after he has dug a very deep feet and then he sold his mining tools to a travel and I'm the traveler just dug like 5 feet and he got to gold. So it thought me never to give up even when the business is failing

Reading books alone does not give you the automatic ticket to build a successful business. You are going to gain a lot of insight and strategy you can apply to your business you know how to create a successful one. There are so many people who read books but never apply what they read in the book. and they are unable to build a successful business as a result. I like reading books on business building but I prefer having a mentor. mentor gives me opportunity to tap from the real life experience.

I did not read any book, particularly on the topic of how to make a business successful, but I read some books which talk about how to be successful in life in other words in any field of life, I am not going to mention all those books, but I am going to point some of the common points out of all those books:
1. Hard work.
2. Consitency.
3. The spirit of never giving up.
4. Believe in your dream, when no one else does.
5. Keep moving forward no matter what.

Podcasts and streams are so great too. There are so many of them that are created by successful business people and they are so educative. The other advantage to them is that they are updated with current trends and so you will gain knowledge that is most useful to you. Unlike traditional books that don't have any updates.

@a_jerobon You are Exactly Right , the knowledge that we can get from an actual business owner which he gets in the form of experience by managing his business in daily life and he/she shares it with us is worth gold and therefore such events play an important role to make us knowledgeable and therefore we should always try go get the maximum out of them

As much as I love reading books, when it comes to business, I would rather prefer a hands-on approach where I would learn the business from experience.

This is very true to some extent.Books are not a 100 percent manual to help you achieve but rather a guide because we apply knowledge differently according to our dedication and ability to take us as far as we want to go.We also apply various factors and conditions in the setup we find ourselves in.Those experiences make us to become effective as individuals.

Books can give you the knowledge if you were living 50 years ago , but now most of the business is learnt through working in a company and by following the right people in your idea , the concept was good but now the demand has finished , people don't have that much time to read books now actually .

Books still have their roles to play when it comes to acquiring knowledge but I have to confess that in recent times, I seem to have more questions than answers after reading books especially those related to business. It seems a whole lot of writers now prefer to publish half information probably to get one to patronize them more and it can be quite frustrating.
