Hello Guys,

So Today I Heard That Ebay Will No Longer Support Paypal ? Is That True ? And That They Will Instead Use Adyen!

I Never Heard of Adyen Before! So What Would That Mean To Us Who Use Paypal ? I Heard Some Say That This Would Be The Death Of Paypal ?

You Have Any Insights Into This ? Share Your Thoughts Below Because Im really Confused Right Now

First time I've heard of it. Did a quick google search and....

ebay and paypal being separated is a rumour since long time, and they even confirmed that they won't be partners anymore in 2020, and here you can still see them working together, they can't stop working because they both guarantee a high income for both of the sides

Let Hope this is rumour by some blogger that needs cheap traffic to their sites, I am learning about Ayen here , this will be a good payment system for international business transactions.

Ebay does extends their partnership with Paypal until 2023. I don't what they're gonna do with paypal after the contract expires. But I do hope that Adyen will become main payment gateway on Ebay.

It will be better if both PayPal and Ayen are used as gate way on the site for effective transactions amongst the buyers and sellers. More people are comfortable with PayPal already.

Not really, a lot of people are getting their paypal account frozen or banned altogether, there's a lot of customer complaints about Paypal.

Pretty sure Ebay already have implemented both Adyen and Paypal as payment options there.

It is better both of them are accepted and used concurrently, those who are. Not comfortable with PayPal should opt for Ayen, if paypal begin to have strong alternative they will amend their over strict policies.

It's hard to rival Paypal and their abusive behaviours toward users. I do hope that someday a worthy rival would appear and take their throne as the best payment gateway in the world.

Let see how Ayen will be able to solve some of the challenges people face with PayPal. I see skrill as a good alternative but most site are yet to key into skrill payment system.

It's Adyen, not Ayen. Two of the most likely rival to Paypal are Payoneer or Stripe, but even then, they both need to game their stuff up in order to beat Paypal.

I guess this stripe payment system is not applicable to all countries , it is mostly available in tier countries unlike payoneer that is available every where.

I wish this will be a true news because paypal is really not a good choice but we have as the only choice now, but as people said above Ebay and Paypal are the same thing so it's a rumour

PayPal is not the only option at the moment though it might be preferred to some people who rely much on it but I don't see it as one, with skrill, Crypto and perfect money most online earnings can be recieved and transactions can be done.

but stores doesn't accept it, I can't find any store who accept payeer also for crypto their price is not stable stores can't risk it, and I don't want to put my credit card information so paypal will be always the choice

PayPal needs strong competitors but I don't think adyen is up to the task to displace PayPal as the most preferred payment site, let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope PayPal gets a strong competitor so they can review some of their policies

Both of the companies have been working together since long, and they both generate profit for each others, i don't think that this is happening any sooner, especially that this been a rumours since 2018
