Have you been able to successfully start and monetize an Instagram account? If so, kindly share some tips on growing your account and monetizing it. My first try has not been very successful, but I am willing to try again.

I actually joined Instagram a month ago because I'm not really a social media freak apart from Facebook and WhatsApp which I find more easier to understand the navigations. I noticed the Instagram app has a monetization option which is very impacting but I don't know how to navigate it.

hmm money . everybody wants money right but i think you make money in instagram by becoming a influencer . it is the best way to earn money from instagram because as many people serve their talent as a influencer . hope it works.

Indeed you can easily make good amount of money as an influencer on Instagram but the for you to become an influencer, you would need to have an active followers ranging from a thousand upwards, even a thousand might be too small. Your main work would be to grow your account to that level and if possible get it verified.

I haven't really encountered the monetization aspect of Instagram because I don't own Instagram stores myself. But I was able to handle a B2C business which was basically a dropshipping store that was selling their apparel line on Instagram. The B2C process is basically how you think it is–the way this really works though is before you can message or DM a page, you'd need to follow them first. So, if they're even just half interested in a product we have posted on the page, we'd still gain a follower in the process.

The traffic/organic follower growth plan for both B2C and B2B is basically the same. They're having the IG pages interact with similar stores or primary consumers. The thing is doing this in a non-spammy way is proving to be difficult since IG has really strict guidelines. So, the commenting behavior is usually done in-between different timeframes.

Reels really changed the game though. Going viral on Instagram was close to impossible before unless you have a large following–or at least based on my experience. Reels put a little of a TikTok twist to IG which is really still being explored.
